Sun sign degree comparability

Okay so I’m a cancer sun 11 degrees does that mean I’d be more compatible with Pisces and Scorpios suns who are also 11 degrees?
Does the degree count for anything when it comes to compatibility?

less than +/- 15° are to be considered.
They show favorable/excellent affinity.

More than 20° cannot promise excellent affinity.

You can do compatibilty by degree and you can do it by sign.
If the two planets are very close by degree and not out of sign, then that is the most influential.
But there is great harmony between elements, regardless of degree. So your Sun at, say, 1 degree Scorp would be highly compatible with another's Sun at 25 PI.
