It always annoys me when I have to make one of these. I never know what to say, aside from the usual "hey, hello, nice place you've got here, did you make those drapes?, hope we have fun together, blah blah blah.' But, then again, I don't really have to make one of these threads. It's just polite and what's expected of new members, eh?

Ending babble now.

I think Orestes was comparing the forums to a house; he may feel like a "guest" in our "home," thus the mention of drapes. I thought it was pretty clever, myself ;)
