Recent revelations have had a major impact in his life, affecting his reputation and thus possibly his income; his marriage, and reflecting on his parents reputations and their parenting of a large brood of children.
It seems that such a major event or its impact should be easy to see in a person's astrological horoscope but that does not seem to be the case when using the planets of traditional astrology. The opposition of transit Saturn to progressed Venus not given the same, or indeed similar interpretation as that of PLUTO to the midpoint of Mars and Saturn.
There is a very potent transit by PLUTO regarding the revelation of one of Josh Duggar's darkest secrets. The aspect holds regardless of the correct time of birth. It is also evident if using longitudes for measurement instead of right ascension. A major configuration (easy to see when looking at the chart) for a major life changing event.
Of the midpoint referred to in the accompanying image (Mars-Saturn) Donald Bradley in his "Solar and Lunar Returns" says "Mars-Saturn is also the "dirty linen" in one's life, so beware of the trouble-maker who might make capital out of your darkest secrets." But only a modern astrologer would have seen that possibility from a transit of the point by PLUTO.
