It all depends on the ruler of these ascendants. If it's in a sign that contrasts with the rising sign, the ascendant may be expressed in a mixed way. Not just a one-sided energy. Astrology describes a person by presenting to us different angles and combinations of one's true identity, and the relationship that these points have with each other. Natal charts aren't easy; 99% of astrologers have to work their way through to get a full picture of the native's soul, mind and spirit. Not an easy task that you can do quickly in just a couple of minutes. I personally think that people should start thinking more deeply about astrology and about natal placements/aspects. :/
