I kind of have to thank Princess Valhalla for turning me on to this...as this was a suggested cut due to my checking out another tune that was suggested as from one of her suggestions I was listening to.

Did anyone follow all that ...?

...well it matters little as it's all about the music here, anyways.

The lead singer gave cause for me to think of Grace Slick, way back in the beginning of Jefferson Airplane.

"Hide U" - Kosheen

...and from there it just got better and better...

Almost too good for the likes of any of you.

YOU'RE NOT WORTHY!

...but, I'm feelin' benevolent tonight,,, you all are so lucky...

[you may be well advised to turn the bass down, who ever uploaded this must have accentuated it... could be damaging to your speakers...not to mention your ears.]

Bonnie Raitt ~ "Road Tested" [I believe this to be the entire album that was released. It is one hour and fifty minutes of rockin' goodness.]

I really love mashups, remixes and blending of genres. I love Linkin Park and Jay-Z's Collision Course. I have the CD and the DVD that came with it of them playing live at The Roxy. Can't believe it's almost 10 years old!

Their live performance was off the chain. Haha!

been addicted to this one by anti pop consortium. its been nice listening to some old hip hop recently, I don't listen to old hip hop that much these days, I loved some of the songs off this album. abstract experimental hip hop from around 10 years ago.

had a listen to this old classic by mansun earlier 'wide open space'. always liked the lyrics and video. parts I sort of relate to as I have social anxiety disorder. it seems like it fits, although the bits where he turns into a vampire isn't really relatable  unless the vampire is some deep metaphor for another type of human behaviour?.. anyway, its a great indie rock song from the 90's.

lastly this downtempo dance track I really like, I find the mood quite captivating. released earlier this year, I didn't really like much else on the lp apart from this. track is by beacon and called 'bring you back'

Haha! Great minds think alike. Glad you have a good sense of humor like me.

My cousin Alan R. Craig has his own band, the "Alan Craig Project", and he just sent me this via facebook.

"Such an amazing album that never saw the light of day in the US. All these tunes are crazy good and just as relevant today. "This House" was always one of my favorite songs by Ross. Howard Turner, I thought you might enjoy checking these out!"

p.s. Ross Rice plays with the Alan Craig Project on many cuts.

Here's a treat!

I've been looking for this song...not knowing who performed it...for about 40 years. I last heard it on a San Francisco Bay Area FM station about 1972. When America came out with "Sandman" I immediately thought of this tune. I just finally asked google again [last time was probably 2007] if it could place those lyrics: "Waiting for the man from Afghanistan to come" ...as after 40 years thats all I could remember. ...google has done good.
Thanks google. [and the dude that posted this on youtube]
