Current established rulerships (generally accepted by many)

I think astrology evolves and that's so neat. And so there isn't like a singular man dictating how astrology is supposed to be practiced like it was in the past. So it evolves in more natural/organic ways such as discussion and intuition.

HERE Are the currently accepted rulerships

Aries -- Pallas ruler. Eris exalt.
Taurus -- Ceres
Gemini -- Mercury

Cancer -- Juno/Moon co ruler.
Leo -- Sun. Pluto exalt.
Virgo -- Vesta & Hygiea

Libra -- Venus
Scorpio -- Pluto
Sagittarius -- Chiron

Capricorn -- Saturn
Aquarius -- Uranus
Pisces -- Neptune

Bunraku, I don't know what is your source, but a lot of rulerships have been proposed yet not widely accepted. The main accepted ones are:

Aries: Mars
Taurus: Venus
Gemini: Mercury
Cancer: moon
Leo: sun
Virgo: Mercury
Libra: Venus
Scorpio: Mars (traditional,) Pluto (modern)
Sagittarius: Jupiter
Capricorn: Saturn
Aquarius: Saturn (traditional) Uranus (modern)
Pisces: Jupiter (traditional) Neptune (modern)

I see the major Astrological indicators as defining the Domicile-rulerships. Then, the others, like the asteroids, can join them as minor Sign-rulers.

I strongly agree in the theory of Chiron is domiciled in Sagittarius, the symbol of the arrow, to heal and to treat. Chiron has an opposite effect when it is in Scorpio. And Chiron is in it's strongest point in 240' degree (cusp Scorpio-Sag).

Here is another enlightening post :)

The proposed model for the planetary rulerships in millennial modern astrology:
Aries-Sun and Mars.
Taurus-Mercury and Venus.
Gemini-Venus and Mercury.
Cancer-Moon and Sun.
Leo-Sun and Moon.
Virgo-Jupiter and Mercury.
Libra-Saturn and Venus.
Scorpio-Uranus and Pluto.
Sagittarius-Neptune and Jupiter.
Capricorn-Pluto and Saturn.
Aquarius-Saturn and Uranus.
Pisces-Neptune and Jupiter.
The removal of asteroids from this equation, all planets are already known in astronomy, and there are no "new" or recently discovered planetary bodies.

Very interesting system of allocations-thanks!

Often I have thought of co-rulers of signs considering planets in exaltation in those signs as being possible co-rulers; eg,
Aries;ruler mars;co sun
Taurus; ruler venus, co moon
Gemini; ruler mercury, possible co uranus
Cancer; ruler moon co Jupiter or possibly Neptune
Leo; sun, possible co mars; maybe Pluto
Virgo; ruler mercury; possible co saturn
Libra; ruler venus, co saturn
Scorpio; ruler mars, co Pluto
Sagittarius; ruler Jupiter
Capricorn; ruler saturn
Aquarius; ruler saturn, co uranus
Pisces; ruler Jupiter, co Neptune

However this schema is pretty much speculative on my part…

Yes Paul correctly understood my perspective:

no, I do NOT consider Neptune, Uranus or Pluto to be dispositors ("rulers") of any sign

-but yes I do consider them to be affinitive to certain signs and dissonant with other signs:

for me, if X planet is in, say, Aquarius, then I consider SATURN to be dispositor of that planet,

PLUS I consider Uranus to have a relationship to that planet as well
(because of the affinity of Uranus with Aquarius),
but NOT at the same level (the level of dispositorship) that Saturn has.
