Part of fortune and its lord

Hi i have Part of fortune in house 2.Its lord, the Moon , is in 9th from fortune.Does that mean i should try fortune and success away from hometown?
Part of spirit has sun venus and mars on its own 10th by the way

No, not necessarily, it would point to success through running your own business or working for yourself. Something to do with nature, and possibly to do with or near water.

I never heard of the lord of the part of fortune being looked at. I would interpret it that you may be fortunate in the sense that you will feel taken care of financially or that your value system will provide a lot of comfort emotionally (cancer/second house). Something like that.
