Should I just forget about my goals? Progressed Mars in Pisces and 12th house

With the combination of my natal chart, progressed chart and current transits it looks like I'm not meant to dream big and accomplish my goals. And reading the interpretations is rather depressing and discouraging. Now I know I have free will and astrological aspects are not written in stone but the way my life has been going it seems I have no luck.

1. My progressed Saturn has moved from my natal 11th to the 10th house. This website says
By Progression
If Saturn moves through its own House by progression, it will indicate a period in a person’s life in which much time and effort will have to go into the task of establishing himself in the career or lifestyle of his choosing.
The situations, which he confronts at this time, which may cause him conside*rable difficulty

2. My Mars has progressed from my natal 1st house/Aquarius to the 12th house/Pisces. That is one of the weakest positions for Mars to be in, and I have a double whammy with 12th house and Pisces. I've always lacked assertiveness my life, which is why I was puzzled that I have a natal 1st house Mars, Chiron trine Mars, and Mars trine Chiron aspects, all of which is said to make a person assertive, independent and like a leader. Since I was young I was none of things which makes sense now having seen my progressed chart. This is what this website says about progressed Mars in house 12:
By Progression
If Mars progresses into the 12th House a person enters a period of his life in which he finds it difficult to define and pursue his personal aims and ambitions.

[deleted quote from one web page over 100 words against forum rules - Moderator]

And the ****** part is, my progressed Mars will remain in the 12th until I'm 70, so basically I will be aimless and unmotivated until then? And the website says even after Mars moves out of house 12, my assertiveness will be weakened.

3. Pluto is transiting through my 12th house. This transit also makes one aimless, and it will be transiting my 12th for about a decade.

I honestly hate my progressed chart.

1. You never give up. Never.
2. It might be helpful to post your chart with transits and progressions.

Progressions are more internal changes than anything else. I've been watching mine as I recently had progressed AC move into Gemini and it's now sitting right on top of my natal Saturn. I have not noticed anything significantly change. Progressions should always be read against the backdrop of your natal chart.

 Thanks for the response.

you need to post a chart from astro with progressed planets around natal as you should not really read progressed as stand alones, it need to be read to see what natally it's activating...

progressed mars in NOT in your 12th house, it's direct at 12' pisces which falls in your late first house stilll......

progressed 'outer' planets are negliable in effects as it's only moved 1' and is still in 11th house not 10th inanyevent...

progressed planets

progressed planets/charts are more 'internal' changes, evolvements rather than 'events or external' matters. I don't read prog charts as stand alones it's more important to see where these planets are moving in the natal chart

Your natal chart is like a photograph as unique as your fingerprint, BUT the 10planets in the sky have not stayed where they were in your natal chart, they have all moved. Predictive astrology is mostly maths where those 10planets are now and the mathematical aspects they make to your natal charts ie: 180'=opposition, 90'=square, 60'=sextile and 120'=trine.

So your personality, grows, develops, changes, matures as we get older, this is reflected by your sun sign changing from it's natal position to the next sign along, so does your Asc and MC sign change. In fact from sun to mars especially are important, as the outer planets really don't move much, using a 'day for a year' secondary progressions.

What's the difference between Transits and Progressions?
“Transits are the planets currently orbiting in the sky and the relationships they form to each other and additionally, to your chart. Transits happen for everyone. They're important and effect you personally when they contact a planet or point in your chart. Transits represent outside energy, things happening outside yourself. They describe external events and your responses to them. Progressions, however, move very slowly and are a natural progression of your original birth chart. The events and emotions they describe are part of you, deeply ingrained in your psyche, internal, and psychological. And as they form aspects, these inner feelings start to become more important and central to your life”

The most important of progressed planets is of course, sun & moon and then upto mars, as the outer planets hardly move by progression. Now like with transits, solar arcs --- it's what these progressed planets are doing NOW by mathematical aspect to your natal planets and Angles that is ultimately important.

Also I would take this opportunity to mention there is a ‘plethora’ of information in every forum top, called 'stickys' which cover, explain in great depth what each forum is all about, plus we have an Education forum for further research..

Furthermore, T Pluto has years left in 11th house and has yet to go over your saturn and neptune before it gets to your 12th..

11th house rules hopes and wishes not 12th and jupiter rules 11th and posited in 3rd

Ruler of the Eleventh House in the Third House
Your friends can influence your thinking or you can learn something from them. An organization can influence your thinking. You can create some kind of change on a broad social level using your ability to communicate.
You can use your mind to manifest your hopes and wishes. Acquaint yourself with the power of visualization techniques.

So it would take quite a while to describe, explain and evaluate that afflicted 11th house but do keep studying - it will come to ....

Um isn't Pluto transiting Capricorn right now? People with Aquarius rising will experience this transit in their 12th house. I'm an Aquarius rising.
[yep, so am I 1' Aquarius rising and it will be years and (approx 20years) in cappi before it gets to my Asc. All transits act as background influences until they make a mathamatical aspect to something within your chart or Angle ie: asc/MC ]

My 11th house is not in Capricorn. My 12th house is in Capricorn. http://betheablog.wordpress.com/200...aquarians-and-those-with-aquarius-ascendants/ I have finished experiencing the symptoms of Pluto going through the 11th house by losing most of my friends. And I have already started experiencing Pluto in 12th house symptoms since 2008 as described from this website, which talks about being aimless(my current situation): http://holestoheavens.com/?p=338 Pluto is definitely transiting my 12th house. As for my progressed Mars, it is not in my 12th house yet, but it will be next year in 2012 so how does your comment make a difference? And my Mars is still in Pisces, which also weakens Mars good qualities.

WHERE IS your chart? with progressions and transits around the natal, found on astro.com extended chart selection please???

you should also remember that 12th house IS the most cadent/hidden and dissolves energies, therefore I don't expect much to happen with T Pluto until it makes some nice trines to my taurus stellium....
