Are these t-squares as challenging as I think they are?

If I'm reading this correctly, I have two t-squares involving my 8th house (Sun and Moon), Saturn, Mars and Neptune:

Sun opposite Neptune
Sun square Saturn
Sun square Mars

Moon opposite Neptune
Moon square Saturn
Moon square Mars

My question is, should Neptune become the focus of the analysis? My natal chart is attached in my signature.

No, your analysis should focus on the 4th House and its affairs because that is what you will neglect and your focus on the 4th House is what "shifts" the T-Square into a "faux Grand Cross" so that you can achieve balance.

Outside of that your focus should be on the apex of the square, which would be the Mars/Saturn conjunction.

As BZ states, Neptune should not be the focus. Neptune is the bucket of water being thrown at your New Moon Sun-Moon conj. Neptune in Sag will tend to change your reality - self-doubt, ennui, sensitivity - but you should not wallow in it. Use its benefits, and in the first instance acquaint yourself well with your Saturn placement. Embrace it, befriend it, and value it. Once you've accepted it, then take your attention to the 4th house. As Bob stated above, this is the balance - the missing link which brings balance to your chart.

[My 36-yr-old son is in the process of now looking at the requirements of the sign and house opposite the apex planet of his T-square, and this is without any astrological knowledge or input. He had a very chaotic and troubled adolescence and early adulthood until he began to access the apex of the T-square - his Mercury placement. This afforded him some much-needed focus. With some people this process tends to be instinctive. Sometimes astrology just gets in the way of this process.]

Saturn, I think it can confer power, can provide an office of responsibility.

what tends to happen with T Squares is that when a transit, progression or solar arcs comes along it creates a temporary Grand Square, which causes tension to get you off your backside to move and resolve issues in your life...

Transiting Neptune will have 'set off' this T Square in past few years 22' Pisces. T Neptune opposing Saturn/mars may well have caused depression, frustions, dissipations of energies, deception, all connected to 4th/family matters. Do you recognise this at all???

“However, in the case of both significations one must keep in mind that no one indication in the chart, not even the Part of Fortune, can be taken by itself as a total indicator of any area of life. For health one must also look at the Ascendant, its ruler, the Moon and its ruler. Also the sixth and eighth houses as indicators of illness and death respectively have strong indications for health. For material prosperity one should also look at the second house, the tenth house, and their rulers.”

“The fortune indicated by this part is not necessarily materialistic or even tangible, though it can be. It depends on the sign and house location of the Part of Fortune. The benefit can be on the physical, intellectual, emotional, and/or spiritual plane of experience. In all cases it is through the cultivation and expression of this point that one will experience harmony and a sense of well-being.”
http://www.astroresources.com/fortune.htm

“The Part of Fortune represents worldly success, and is associated with the physical body and health as well. It can be indicative of the career or vocation. Worldly success and prosperity are associated with the Part of Fortune, and both its sign and house placement suggests innate abilities and talents--areas of life and qualities that are expressed naturally.”

There is a 'plethora' of information on AW, espec in the 'stickys' at the top of every forum, our Education forum and Recommendations forum to. Plus we have a good search feature,[but not foolproof obviously, so try here first] bit like google using keywords – initially select advanced and try just selecting 'titles' rather than posts or you'll get too many threads. If this doesn’t get results then try google
