Exactly. And this is not a radical idea; it is the reality of how we have treated our vets.

I do think this prolonged campaign is to Bernie's advantage, as it will take American voters some time to assimilate the concept that our daily lives are an example of how "Democratic Socialism" is an integral part of our daily lives. Many more will eventually realize Trump, Carson, et all do not really have viable solutions to our challenges. Bernie's like a one-man intervention team, and interventions aren't fun!

I do thank you, jupasc, for your astute observations, I always appreciate them. My health has been challenged lately, so I am not responding as much as usual. Hopefully, I have a good diagnosis now, and help is on the way.

Although I suspect you do not celebrate Thanksgiving, I'll wish you one, anyway, on the chance you do!

The journalist was quoted in the NY Times yesterday, saying he had interviewed the Donald many times. We knew that. I guess there is more to come from the Donald in rude statements-he's still spiraling downward. Question is: is there a point when his followers say "enough!" Sadly, I don't think so.

Hello -

I voted for Romney - he lost the election. The tide has shifted now. A conservative is what is needed in this country now more than anything. Someone who can suture multiple wounds faster than a one-legged man at an asskicking contest. Not saying it should be Carson, but metaphorically, someone who knows how to stop hemmorhaging of terror, hate, poverty and fear - in the old days - it was someone who inspired people to work and thrive, not sit around complaining that they ain't got nothing and deserve more.

The best thing a human can do in life is feel productive and be self-sustaining. This usually implies having sound mind, body or financial resources - with motivation and incentive involved.

I have a natal Jupiter - Saturn in Capricorn in the 6th house. I appreciate a leader who wants a person to do well and get rewarded for day to day work and business ambitions.

I don't see that the liberal candidates give a **** about this - so the liberal candidates don't get my vote.

He hasn't really come up with any concrete policies (google "Donald Trump economic policies" the results are very interesting), and running an economy is different to running a corporation.

& to your point about allowing strangers into your home - there are some kind and generous people who open their homes to strangers and give everyone the benefit of the doubt until they prove themselves unworthy of that trust and hospitality.

I heard a good quote the other day that seems very apt - "We are only ever operating out of love or out of fear."
