With all the candidates who presented themselves in the original DNC debates, why did it come down to this poor soul who in reality should just be retired to a comfortable old age home?

Biden is a better and more qualified person to hold the presidency than Trump. Many Americans worry Biden would act like a dictator to implement martial law and locking down the entire USA to get hold of the COVID-19 pandemic. And I would thought Trump is the kind of personality who would do that, but he said he'll never lock down the whole country and he's more concerned about the massive wave of civil unrest like in Portland and Chicago where Trump assigned federal agents to crack down on sometimes violent Antifa demonstrations.

Joe Biden's gaffe about the Latino/Hispanic community is more diverse than the black/African-American one is scrutinized as a racist comment, it could impact the presidential election while Biden selects a black woman as a VP running mate.

Trump is the most corrupt president in American history. Now he's blatantly trying to rig the election by assaulting mail-in ballots (unless the state governor is Republican) and by deep cuts to the US postal service on the eve of the elections.

So the Trump campaign has to come up with something in a feeble attempt to bolster Trump's sagging poll numbers.

We know Trump is in trouble if this is the best they can do.

I have overheard several conversations in which people who clearly support the Biden campaign expressed the hope that he stays out of public, does little speaking, does not engage in any debates, and that they are sure that the Democrats will surround a prospective President Biden with a well-functioning team if he wins.

These are not lovable Joe Biden gaffes. I have been involved in patient care for over 40 years, and have no doubt that these are signs of significant cognitive defects. I don’t know if Joe Biden has Alzheimer’s disease, but he clearly has a degenerative neurological disorder in which dementia is a part.

I am asking Democrats not to turn a blind eye to what is in plain sight about Joe Biden

ElenaJ, the Democrats can't replace Biden now so they have to deny his mental decline even though the DNC have stated that they don't want Joe to be interviewed anymore or enter into any debate for his decline is worse now & harder to hide. He's not going to win but this type of deceptive action by the DNC is the reason why many will switch from Democrat to voting for Trump this year. Biden's VP will be the real power behind his bid for Presidency. He recently refused to be interviewed by Chris Wallace who did a very lengthy interview with President Trump.

Three new video clips of Joe Biden surfaced on television news this week.

In one of them, he was talking to three interviewers when he related a recent medical encounter he had in which a nurse leaned over and whispered in his ear that if anything medically serious would happen to him, that she could breathe up through his nose and bring him back to health.
He found this to be amazing. I found this to be shocking. It is not clear what this medical encounter was about, it is not clear that it even happened, but it was clearly bizarre.

The other two clips that I also saw on television was one of a recent speech in which he clearly did not know where he was, and another in which he was answering a question about the 2020 census, and in his answer he added the qualification that it happened two or three years ago.

Trying to justify them covering up Joe's dementia because the Republicans did it decades ago is truly despicable. I saw Biden live during the Democratic primary debates. I also see him on the evening news.

I suggest that people check the source of any canned videos, because some trolls are modifying them to make Democrats' speech look slurred. (They're also doing this to Nancy Pelosi.) There is currently a debate as to whether YouTube should allow these faked modifications.

As I said, Biden is not a very articulate speaker. He suffered from stuttering as a young man. While he's learned to control stuttering as an adult, it is possible that some people don't understand how a speech impediment might affect someone's fluency with speaking later in life.

I also don't find Biden to be terribly exciting or inspiring. But that's OK. After 4 years of Trump's disastrous antics, I think most Americans will be ready for a moral, decent, experienced leader.

Apparently it was his idea of a little joke, taken from a line spoken by actor John Wayne in a movie. It was inappropriate.
