Astrolog at http://www.astrolog.org/astrolog.htm is an astrology program that's been freely available since 1991. It's newest version 7.20 offers a wide variety of classic and modern features, such as:

Astrolog version 7.30 is now available! It's been exactly 30 years since the first version was released, so this is the "30th Anniversary Edition" of the program! :biggrin: New features in Astrolog 7.30 include:

  • Improved wheel charts, with options for filled in areas (with rainbow colors or other patterns), line thickness, different text fonts, and decan markings, such as seen above.
  • 6 chart hexa-wheels, for when quad-wheels with 4 charts at once aren't enough! ;)
  • Planetary visibility chart, showing when selected planets are above the horizon during the year.
  • Rings of Uranus can be displayed in Astrolog's telescope/planetarium chart. (Astrolog already supports Saturn's rings.)
  • Space probes and other additional objects. For example, the Astrolog animation below shows the five spacecraft which have exited our solar system so far (Pioneer 10&11, Voyager 1&2, and New Horizons):

Astrolog version 7.50 is now available! :cool: Additions to Astrolog 7.50 include:
  • South Indian and North Indian style square wheels, as used in Indian/Vedic/Jyotish astrology, with examples seen above.
  • Planetary moons wheel, which shows planetary moons orbiting around their planets in a standard wheel chart.
  • Traditional sign divisions, such as terms/bounds, decans/faces, Navamsa, and Vedic Nakshatras.
  • Dial charts from Uranian astrology (with midpoint trees aligned with a chosen focus point) with an example seen below:
