Your significator being Saturn doesn't mean you are like Saturn. Only that Saturn represents you in this question. You, as all querents, are also represented by the Moon. Likewise, the question itself is signified by the Moon.
I think you as Moon in the 5th fits the romantic nature of the relationship. Honestly, I do agree with you about your characterizing yourself as impatient. By that I mean, it is all very early and I would hope you would take all the time to need to really get to know him and see if he is truly partnership material.

In terms of your asking about marriage now, prematurely, I think that is why he is in his/turned unfortunate 8th and why the reception between Sat and Sun is so poor. That is, maybe the information in the chart is so contradictory, favorable and unfavorable, because of the premature posing of the question? Not sure.
My sense is that you may have simply asked the wrong question, my friend. Marriage is not on the table. So when there has been some time and you actually get to know him a bit better, perhaps you will pose a question about that, really getting to know each other, rather than jumping to "Will we get married?"
You will be glad, you will feel better, when you cultivate patience and along with your commitment to this relationship.
