Should I gamble?

Hi Horary Folks.

So I never gamble, not a gambling person really.
But I tend to be quite lucky in winning prizes when I play any kind of game.
I have a transit of uranus that I am waiting on to make an exact conjunction to the ruler of my ascendant. I am thinking of gambling on that day.

This question is a should I gamble/will I win scenario. As both questions where on my mind when I pulled the chart.

So I'm awful at horary.. but I don't want to be lazy astrologer in posting either.

So I am Moon in this chart. In the 11th house of hopes and wishes...?
I'm guessing the 5th is used for gambling and that you guys would use mars as ruler of the 5th. Mars is domiciled. that's good in this regard right? but retrograde.. not good? Moon is in aspect to aforementioned Mars, good i think. Moon shows timing. Moon is 20 degrees Mars is 27. So a period of 7days of some kind? lol. I'm trying at least here.
Beyond that I have no clue.

Mars rules the 5th house. Moon is your significator and is applying to Mars in opposition. Therefore the answer to your question is No. Oppositions between significators in horary are always delineated as a negative. You can try this question again but not for at least 3 months. Be specific saying something like "If I bet on the horses at the track tomorrow, will I win?" That narrows the situation and the time. Be sure you know something about gambling like what the odds are and how to keep from losing all your money.

I might still try though because there is no harm, I'm only gambling a small amount anyway.

Here is a fun game I play sometimes.

OK< I take my great Aunt to play BINGO about once every 2 months, at a large Casino a couple of hours away. She is in the Bingo Hall for about 5 hours.


So I look up the chart of the moment, keeping track of the Asc, the chart ruler and the Moon. And I figure out which planets are in charge and making good aspects. So if it is Libra rising, and Venus is trining Jupiter, then I will play slots that have a VENUSIAN theme. Or if the Moon is in Leo, and nicely aspected, I will choose machines with Solar themes or fiery decorations etc.

It is kind of fun to add that astrological twist to it. Main things is -NEVER bring more than you can afford to lose.

Querant ruler Moon is quickly approaching opposition to Mars retro in 5th.

Mars in querant 5th house - the house of gambling.

Mars is in 5th - retrograding - which makes me think that if you were to find you were losing, you'd still be compelled to go back.

Moon just passed over mercury when you asked this - it was an idea, a thought, short lived.

I've been thinking about it for a few days because of uranus conjuncting the ruler of my chart. Uranus is located in my natal 5th house and makes a harmonious aspect to jupiter natally. So I thought with the conjunction of my chart ruler, give it a go. why not.

Anyway I will update in a few days, and we can see how the chart played out.

I take 11th for lottery and such, as 11th is 'pennies from heaven' money you hope to get without much effort. Venus is combust, burnt. So this would mean, no win or not much that you might win. But should you gamble? General 5th is Mars, Moon opposes Mars, both dignified and opposition. This would mean, there is no harm in gambling, you won't suffer. Moon is happy in Taurus. And Mars is not evil in its own sign, even though reception is not good. So you will gamble and then move on with your life.

This sounds like me. If it doesn't work, moving on. I do hope by some miracle I win though, that would be nice and help me out of a bad situation.

Update:

So I gave gambling a shot, and came so close to winning. I casted this chart on June2nd or 3rd. I meant to gamble 5 days later on June 7th. That was my original intent when I formed the question and jotted down the time.

Anyway I ended up gambling instead 12 days later, and I did not win. Normally I'd give up. But I have a pocket time of lucky transits and progressions which will be over by the end of next week. So I'm going to try again a few more times until that window expires. Anyway it's great fun, and I've really enjoyed myself, and I seriously believe I can and will win. Granted that is probably what everyone says!

There is a horary technique by which you can see which horse will win. I know someone who uses it a lot. I think it works by assigning planets to match horse names. For example, "Yellow Ray" horse would be signified by the Sun, "Redrum" would be Mars etc.
