Moon is exalted in Taurus :
1.) Moon is exalted in Taurus upto 3 degrees and debilitated upto 3 degrees in Scorpio.

2.) Moolatrikona of Moon is from 4 degree Taurus.

3.) Moolatrikona of Moon is in Cancer.

4.) Moon is exalted in Taurus when under Rohini Nakshatra (10degrees - 23degrees)
-->Which is correct??
Me : "Can a graha gets its exaltation during its infancy.... since any graha when in < 4degrees is considered a baby/infant and > 26degree is considered old age and fails to provide good results?"

As per Parashara ji, 1 and 2 are correct statements (BPHS, s54+).
The awasthas or states is another matter, based on degree-segments in two orders depending on the sign. The seeming discrepancy you have noted is interesting and in one of the forums a member had prepared a table of similar discrepancies for different planets when trying to see the awasthas vis a vis exaltation etc. The exaltation and debilitation are more akin to the lunar phases, if we visualize amavasya (new moon) with the debilitation and poornima (full moon) as the maximum exaltation point for a planet in the zodiac.

The different measures of quality and quantity such as awasthas, attributes such as gunas, strengths (exaltation being one of the factors), friendships etc can be confusing if looked at singly. Much better to use these in a matrix form, as opposed to becoming overly concerned by any one component of the matrix!
