Doubts of a newbie

Greetings!

I really want to become an astrologer, i was studying tropical astrology for years and now i've come across to indian astrology and really want to emerge myself into it. But the one thing that bothers me is that according to indian astrology my moon sign is Taurus and my Asc is Pisces, i really cant relate myself with Taurus and Pisces. Western astrology wise i'm a Capricorn/Aquarius and my Asc is Aries (very impatient, always in a hurry, talk fast,walk fast, very prominent eyebrows...), my moon sign is Gemini (im very talkative, i don't show my emotions, always ignoring the emotions, trying to rationalize)...Due too strong Saturn influence i'm very boney, short and with dark complexion.
And all this is quite true. What bothers me is that i would really like to study indian astrology because i'm more attracted to the indian culture (shiv bhakti since childhood, learning hindi,etc.), but i just can't relate to my own birth chart (moon sign, asc and my Nakshatra (Rohini) in particular). I'm everything but Taurus in nature.

My question is

1)how can you explain this due to my indian birth chart? Does it point out that i'm very hyperactive,artistic, fast thinker, talkative, unconventional (Uranus is my personal planet ruler), hungry for knowledge(i have 1000+ hobbies and want to learn so much (mostly new languages)..etc.)?
2) I'm I really destined to be an astrologer (Ketu in the 8th house)?

I really find indian astrology more interesting and would like to start learning it, but really can't connect with my own chart. It just doesn't feel like me. The problem may be due to the fact that i really don't know much about indian astrology, but the little i've learned about my chart doesn't seem to relate to me.

Your ascendant lord is Moon and it's an aspect from Saturn so as you say 'don't show my emotions, always ignoring the emotions, trying to rationalize)'.... you actually have a strong aspect of Saturn on your ascendant.....
