Hey guys

My life has not been great for a while now. I may sound overly dramatic but since Oct 2008 when i changed jobs (progressed moon into Scorpio) my life went downhill. Nothing drastic happened but my job became alot more stressful, my social and family life was rocky, and i have also suffered financially. Recently I had broken up with my bf who i had known for a year now (meet him on my bday last year) we were very close friends and dated for 5 months. He supported me when times were rough and subconsiouly i allowed myself to let him in. Now we have broken up and i feel confused and down. I hate my job and feel like im stuck in the same place. I generally like to be on the move, like change alot but that hasnt been happening. I want to move out of my parents place next year and look for another job but it hasnt been very easy for me at the present. Looking back i realised that i havent been as happy as i should be for a while now. :sad:

I have attached my natal and transit as well as my natal and progressed (from october 2008 and now). It would be great to give me some insight on what is causing me pain and when will it pass?

Overly simplistic, probably not the entire cause of your problems and you probably already know, but Saturn has been transiting your 4th house for a while now.

You have calculated your chart using the default on astro.com of placidus and I use Equal House system and am a modern astrologer. Lots of people that come into Astrology get their free charts calculated at www.astro.com and the default ‘house system’ used is Placidus and think that’s just the norm and all that there is……..BUT that is just the tip of the iceberg. You can change the default on astro.com in Extended Chart selection to Equal house and a few more.

Throughout the forums but mainly in natal astrology there are two main branches Placidus (unequal size houses) v Equal House (whereby each house is same size) but lots more……. For more information on these go here.

It's only with study and research will you be able to assess where your planets are deposited and in which houses... thus see which 'glove fits'

Transiting Saturn is still in 3rd house until it gets to 17' Libra which is a while off yet -- Pluto is in 4th, sun in 10th venus and mercury in 9th, Jupiter in 7th.

for next four months progressed moon is fast approaching natal Saturn and this may be a time of austerity, financial hardship and emotional withdrawal.

Progressed mars is 1' departing coming off chiron (which is a wound) connected to 11th house matters ie: friendships, hopes and wishes, group activities etc.

T Jupiter is now going through your 9th house of higher education, philosophies, the law, religion, and long distance travel -- so this should offer opportunities in these directions.

Venus square Neptune is notorious for 'rose tinted glasses' and romantic disillusionment

Jupiter is also a singletong ie; only planet in air which the chart lacks. With this element lacking it gives a tendency to make sweeping statements for effect without enough thought behind them...

Cancer Asc tend to 'worry' and Aries stellium is impatient and impulsive and rushes in where angels fear to tread

Urnaus quincunx mars suggests inappropriate action (mars) on occasion plus suffering from sudden (uranus) intermittent and painful things, like back problems for example...

Yes it has, which could affect me moving out but I also have Uranus in 10th which is in opposition with Saturn (approaching I think) which may mean that the moving out will happen at some point.

Hi

Thanks for this. I feel discouraged as a lot of this sounds negative and disheartening. Transit wise do you know when some of this load will be lifted off? Or am I in for a very lengthy nasty ride? Also, will i be successful in moving jobs at some point soon?

Also, for a better reading, I can post the charts using the equal house systems if you prefer?

I use--- 1' approaching, 1' exact and 1' departing. If you click on the link listed below for the online ephemeris it will list all planets at any given time. Learning astrology is like learning a new ‘language’ and obviously the more effort you put into something the more your knowledge and understanding will increase. All transits act as ‘background’ influences through a house, until it makes a mathematical aspect to a planet inside or an Angle.

For 'timings' I would look to the retrograde hit as the most important trigger, then look to see what the quicker planets are doing especially mars & mercury --

astro.com has fee six month transit forecast plus when you get into Extended chart selection, look at the three tabs after calculating a chart under ‘method’ default is circular wheels (on left), middle is special charts and in their you get graphic ephemeris 1yr (or 5years) with natal = transits for 1yr and lots more. BUT you first must learn or memorise the 'glyphs' ie: shorthand for recognising what these maps/graphics mean.

For example when you post or reply to a chart the 'smilies' to the right and just under them [more] if you click on there it will bring up a whole loads of 'glyphs' :mercury:Mercury :uranus:Uranus :conjunct:conjunction (+or - 8') :trine:trine aspect 120' :libra:Libra

Now it's more important to focus on transits from Jupiter to Pluto (poss mars as this is the ignition key)and these planets when aspecting something in your natal chart 'set off' the difficult or nice 'aspects - potential - problems' that your chart expresses. By that I mean if a benefic planet like Jupiter hits/touches/transits your venus, mars or uranus these could be experienced very pleasantly. BUT if your natal venus is afflicted, or badly aspected say conj saturn then jupiter will not has such a good effect. It all depends on how the natal planet is 'aspected'

For me I would say external 'events' must be seen by transits, progressions or Solar arcs to Angles ie: Asc/Desc & MC/IC most other times these events are 'internal, psychological matters as in between the ears'

This last website link is rather nice because it gives interpretations of what the ‘Lord’ of the house cusp ruler means ie: T Jupiter sextiles natal sun, so wherever Leo rules in your chart is connected to the area this transit will be affecting –

In addition to transiting (moving planets in the sky) :saturn: (duty, also restriction) in the home (also emotions) house (4th house), transiting :saturn: is also :square: (energy needs to be combined with) your birth :moon: (home, also emotions). This indicates a time when you feel emotionally restricted. This transit takes awhile to complete. It's important to understand that this is an emotional FEELING not a "reality". So try to let go of the negative feeling as much as possible, look for the positive, and "wait it out".

Thanks! I agree with the emotionally restricted part. I am pretty much closed off emotionally at the moment. Because I have been going through some tough times for a while I have detached myself from people and putting my energy and focus into myself and my goals. I have also becomes quite strict, especially with people, unable to show care or compassion as I usually do. All the effect of Saturn. However I favour this as I think this is a time where i need to be saturnian for my own good.
