Hi dianab,

Those aren't placements.

A "placement" must include house, or no description is possible.

The other requirements for a description are whether the chart is a day chart or night chart, and whether those celestial bodies are direct or retrograde and their aspects.

A diurnal Leo Mars is not the same as a nocturnal Leo Mars.

A diurnal Leo Mars in H7 is not the same as a diurnal Leo Mars in H11.

A diurnal retrograde Leo Mars in H11 is not the same as a diurnal direct Leo Mars in H11.

A diurnal retrograde Leo Mars trine a nocturnal direct Aries Jupiter is not the same as a diurnal retrograde Leo Mars trine a diurnal direct Aries Jupiter and it is not the same as a trine with a diurnal retrograde Aries Jupiter.

All those things are important, and without 100% of the facts, it's not possible to do anything.

Like the others said, you would need to know the degrees to figure out aspects and houses, as those are as, if not more important than the signs they're in.

But that said, I can say that both guys had dominant/controlling mothers and weak fathers, and are likely emotional and if not mature, manipulative. Both are definitely homebodies.

They'd still be much easier to read in chart-form, but both guys' aspects/placements are amongst the more emotional I've seen. Are their Ascendants in Libra or Aries?

Without knowing either person (or their houses), I can *guess* that Guy A is more likely to over-compensate his manliness to cover his emotionality (as Cancer-heavy men sometimes do) with his Leo Mars square Jupiter. He might be prone to traditional gender roles, and his Venus Opp Neptune can mean he falls in love easily. Guy B seems more homebody-ish with very intense emotional needs (Guy A has intense needs as well).

Cancer and Leo placements are arguably the most emotionally needy, Moon or Venus in hard aspect to Pluto equals deep feelings that are often not resolved later in life (and can equal manipulation until they are). Moon/Venus in aspect to Jupiter can expand emotional/love needs.

Hopefully they're mature/self-aware because there's a ton of emotional baggage with both, based on what you've posted.
