Notably Mars ruling Aries and Scorpio, Venus ruling Taurus and Libra.
How do you feel about signs that are supposedly very different signs sharing the same ruler? Does that create a common thread between them that explains the value of the quincunx aspect? I would be intrigued to read your opinions.
Also a while back I came across a theory on SkyWriter, that Earth ruled Taurus (not Venus) ; the Earth would be directly opposite the Sun on a chart. ( ..This introduces a planet with a new personality, new interpretation, new aspects in the chart, etc ... and suggests that the very planet we are on has astrological influence upon us as those that surround us from a distance do...)
