about rising signs on sign cusps

my exact birth time is unknown only an approximate time which is what I have been using my rising is leo but it's rite there on the edge of virgo I did a time check and roughly 10 minutes from the time I have been using it hits virgo so it works out that roughly the time I was born the rising sign was changing I have read about both signs when they are the ascendant I can identify with both I know that say sun signs when on sign cusps are accepted as having the two traits I am just interested in what other people think of this since neither sign seems to fit me totally but both together are very accurate thanks in advance for any input

Is there any way you can get a hospital record of your birth time? without this you could spend years searching/analysing.

It's prob worth you making a list of things that happened in your childhood upto age 12ish. Anyone die, move house, siblings born, health conditions etc.

no hospitol record I was born at home delivered by my father and a midwife they did try and keep track of the time but the actual exact time was lost in the confusion so it is in the time frame of 8:35 AM give or take 10 minutes I was actually thinking maybe since a baby just dosn't come out in a second or two it takes a bit maybe a few minutes it could be possible that I was literally born when the rising sign was changing from leo to virgo kind of like someone born on july 22 being rite on the change between cancer and leo

I'm not goin nuts over this just thought it was interesting since I do most definatly have traits from both signs everything is always complicated with me

If you have a Virgo Ascendant then Mercury becomes the ruler of your ascendant and of your chart, and it is in Leo. So this way you will exhibit both qualities.

But what A50 was implying is that you should do a chart rectification to find your exact birth time.

The problem with feeling as though you have a foot in both camps is down to 'progressions' cos if you were late Leo rising, it would have progressed fairly quickly into Virgo and that's why you identify with those traits

Your natal chart is like a photograph as unique as your fingerprint, BUT the 10planets in the sky have not stayed where they were in your natal chart, they have all moved. Predictive astrology is mostly maths where those 10planets are now and the mathematical aspects they make to your natal charts ie: 180'=opposition, 90'=square, 60'=sextile and 120'=trine.

So your personality, grows, develops, changes, matures as we get older, this is reflected by your sun sign changing from it's natal position to the next sign along, so does your Asc and MC sign change. In fact from sun to mars espec are important, as the outer planets really don't move much, using a 'day for a year' secondary progressions.

Try asking other people which traits you express, leo and virgo are very different. Do you enjoy being centre of attention, are you bossy organised and have lots of pride, ego -- do you have leadership qualities???
Cos Virgo hasn't it worries, over analayses things, nit picks, strong perfectionist streak, hates limelight and wants to work in background.

Try making a list of things that happened in your childhood, say upto age 12-14. anyone die, relocate, any accidents, broken bones, sibling born?
