Watched the recently released movie "Filth" the other night {Scottish production that wan't released here in the States until this June, past...great soundtrack, btw} which at the closing and into the credits has a wonderful cover of the following song by Radiohead... {and the movie is about the most sick, twisted, disgusting, bent, demented, swinish movie I've ever seen...and i loved every minute of it.}
"Creep" - Clint Mansell & Coco Sumner
...so, I wake up the next day and find myself humming an oldie from the 70's...and all that day and the next...couldn't get it out of my head...
"The Air That I Breath" - The Hollies

...and I subsequently find out that the Hollies sued Radiohead for plagiarism and won... but, I had to think a bit ...going back forty years here kids... and I thought to myself, "Yeah, that's why I was humming that oldie...and dang that sure brings back a lot of memories as it got airplay up the wazoo backindaday...but why am I thinking, "Bee Gees"...when I hear it again"
...wellllllll.....

...AND THEN...
I find out that neither of those two are the original artist...
"The Air That I Breathe" (original) -
Albert Hammond

...
and then...
I find out that just about everyone that was recording music back then, including their immediate relatives, covered the song...
...even...
Hank Williams jr

...but this one really, really is the best of both worlds...
