Hi -
I would like to learn more about Fixed Stars... I have Algol conjunct my ASC 27' Taurus (btw - I also have Lilith asteroid conjunct ASC, and Black Moon Lilith conjunct MC & Moon... ugh). Anyway - I'm looking for some other key fixed stars to get the full picture.
I ran a report on Astro.com for stars brighter than m=2
I could use some orientation to this report to help get me started... Here are the sections in the chart - can someone please tell me what each is used for, or at least - which one I should look at first? It's a little confusing
1. Aspects between Planets and Fixed Stars (true angles)
2. Aspects between Planets and Fixed Stars (ecliptical)
3. Aspects between Planets and Fixed Stars (angles in the house circle)
4. Heliacal Events
5. Parans I (planet is at axis): Rising, Culmination, Setting, Lower Culmination
6. Parans II (star is at axis): Rising, Culmination, Setting, Lower Culmination
I've read Bernadette Brady, so I understand a little about #5 & #6, but it's not super helpful when the you have no idea how long the culmination period is...
What's the easiest way to get started?
