Guys!

In my chart it reads that i have Venus sesqui -quadrate saturn with an orb of -1 31' ?

In other words is this the horrible VENUS SQUARE SATURN? I read it may be the semi square which is less hard to deal with than the pure square?

Any one to let me know at all i would be so grateful !

:)

Any one to let me know at all i would be so grateful !

Now venus is in detriment in aries as it doesn't sit well in impatient aries. it has an opposition to moon, which can suggest that people you are attracted to don't always fullfill you emotionally and vice versa..

Venus also have two lovely trines 120' don't really understand what you are complaining about here...

Your mercury (communications) is FAR more challenged and worth researching.
Moon and neptune are both singletons to.

Saturn and Uranus square Asc and this will knock your confidence a little and sometimes behave erratically (uranus) a be a little rebel - at times..

You do have a quintile aspect which can suggest hidden talent. Use our search feature to find the threads..

Hi astrolger50!

Thank you ..you have always been so helpful to me :)
I really did not mean to sound like i was complaining ..i was a bit concerned i had that aspect as i have heard nothing but bad things about the love life of people who have it!

But could you possibly tell me what the 'Venus sesqui quadrate saturn' means? Doesn't this mean that the two planets aspect each other? What is the 'sesqui quadrate' in astrology mean? I guessed it was the semi square, but thank goodness you say its not!

And the mercury is the worse aspect ed planet according to your interpretation? Does this mean a person can be blocked with communication? A moon singleton is interesting!

Semi-square, sesquiquadrate and quincunx are all minor tense aspects. Psychologically their effect may be seen as a very weak version of the square. Some astrologers give 'them additional importance in predicting events

cafeastrology doesn't even delinate semi square at all :innocent:
personally I don't use as the are too minor..

Singleton planets
“If a planet happens to be the only one in an element, quality, or house type, that planet is a Singleton and it can funnel all of the “energy” of the horoscope. This planet is often the most important one in the horoscope. In other words, if you just interpret the position of this one planet by sign, house, and aspect, you will get to the “heart of the horoscope”. The effect is the same as if that planet were the only one on one side of the chart.”

(There is a book out by Shirley Lyons Meier, "Elemental Voids, More than Meets the Eye", which gives a good discussion of missing elements.) The Inferior Function can be a source of great motivation and creative expression.

planets in houses

Houses/signs are like the backdrop of a stage/theatre, planets in houses behave like actors on a stage, the *aspects* show how these planets/actor behave in a house

i don' consider mercury conj jupiter either as the orb is 10' and too wide for me. I tend to reduce the orb ratio down to 85% to bring in line with more mainstream views...

mercury square saturn at 9' is very questionable to

mars conj Neptune
“This conjunction can pose several difficulties: in choice of actions, where you may struggle to establish what your real aims are; in making that final decision to attempt to achieve them, and in ensuring that suffiecient and persistent effort is then made to guarantee success. An unintegrated Nepune can dissolve that focused will, making decisive clarity difficult to maintain. Additionaly, you tend to avoid accepting the consequences of your choices, and there can be a refusal to acknowledge responsibility when such actions lead to failure or negative results.”

there is also mercuey retrograde - going backwards. this tends to a very analytical mind and poss people watcher in childhood

Hey there astrologer50!

I did actually see the thread on Pisces rising..but lots of people may have a 'hard life' ..with all sorts of signs. Why would other Pisces planets not be included in that though?..e.g. Venus/mars/sun in Pisces etc it does not make sense that rising/moon are the only indicators.

What is the quintile aspect so i can look it up?

I consider myself more 'cancer' in nature than Pisces (maybe cancer decan of P rising) ..or at least my parents and close friends think so. I am a natural born 'artist' though..although i prefer to be called 'creative' !

The WEAKEST combination i have ever come across in terms of combos are men (not sure about women) that have lots of air mixed with water signs..and a lack of fire/earth. My mums son/father have lots of gemini (moon in Aquarius) with water (cancer/Pisces) ..and they are both irresponsible, shallow and have an overall WEAK character.

Another boyfriend of my mums moved in two years ago and he was EXACTLY THE SAME!!! (lots of Gemini/cancer) no fire/little earth. An irresponsible bachelor he would rave on to me about all these cars he was going to get ..and I'd be like umm how could you afford that, don't you already have two cars?? Amongst numerous other things he was babyish, immature and silly ..at least to me!

A friend i have is similar to the above...Pisces planets mixed with a strange, aloof Aquarius moon.of course a peter pan bachelor type as well!! Women do not seem to want to marry/have children with these types of men.

My mum attracts Gemini/cancer energies in men - as i told her once as her 8th house cusp is gemini and her mercury is placed in cancer..so they naturally come to her!

Personally i have never attracted a Gemini/cancer energy...i mostly have leo/libra planet boyfriends..with occasional Aries planet guys who i find i clash with more - may be explained by the 8th house Libra cusp, Aries Venus (Libra/Aries energy) does not explain all my Leo planets boyfriends though! Libra moon guys are my best match ..Aries moon guys i seem to have a greater physical attraction to, but do not mesh well with.

It's not something generally known, it's just something I have other experienced astrologers have picked up along the way.....Remember the Asc is the lens, the filter in which you experience your surroundings and world..
planets inside your natal chart like pisces sun, moon etc will have 'other aspects' to them which will alter/modify their behaviour, whereas Asc doesn't change hardly. Being 2nd decante may add subtle influences, like worrying more or a rounder shape face perhaps...

What is the quintile aspect so i can look it up? Use our search feature has been massive threads on it somewhere. it shows hidden talent...

I am a natural born 'artist' though..although i prefer to be called 'creative' ! With cancer ruling your 5th house cusp that would explain the moon and her aspects as to how this may manifest, not particularly Asc.. Pisces, like gemini and libra are all restless, procrastinating and indecisive..

Well it's nice you have that all figured out.
remember in a woman's chart you look at sun Aries/fire traits like father, mars in Saggi/fire and 7th house cusp Virgo/mercury. Not sure why you would even be looking at gemini cancer
