I suppose being Scorpio, both tropical & sidereal - would be natural for him to do so. Digging deep! I tend to do this, but I only have Jupiter in late Scorpio.

Cavett has Traditionalistic Mercury combust. I'm not entirely clear on what effect that would have on one's thought processing. Some Mods use combust, some don't.

I am one who sees combust planets with the Sun enhances or even blinds us depending - Enhances strongly for good or evil depending upon the soul itself. (imo)


My Mars and Sun are combust 1 deg. Although in 6th hs. I do heal remarkably fast with Mars exalted in Capricorn.

My husband has Sun cj. Neptune within 4 deg. 11th house (and he is really a sensitive, so avoids these areas of paranormal) except when it completely overtook him. (picked up a pen and couldn't stop writing) for example, Mercury in Scorpio- 12th.
It has been very helpful at stressful times in my life, to help lead me in the correct direction or path. Plus even though he doesn't partake as a conscious choice, at least he aids me by accompanying me in my choices of mysticism. (A.R.E. Cayce, Dream books, on and on) A real gem of a guy. (for me) I've been very very lucky that way.
