Sexual problems in a male

I've been reading on this, but wanted some opinions on what could make this psychological blockage prevent guy from being able to have a normal sexual life. without physical obstacles, healthy young male, non-drinker, non-smoker, regular physical activity, unable to reach orgasm and sustain erection.

my observations

Mars conj Saturn in Cancer - although this conjunction is separating, both planets are debilitated here and seems that Mars as a male principle is unable to perform and release the sexual energy, Saturn blocking it or simply being in Cancer

Pluto in 5th house, retro, and 5th house ruler in the 12th house - sexuality is repressed and can only be experienced internally and in some extreme ways.

T-square of Venus Pluto and Saturn - problems in love in general, problems letting go of feelings, and maybe responsible for inability to reach orgasm with a partner

and I recently read in an old book Mars Pluto square can cause impotency or sexual problems in males, especially if Saturn is involved

I see another very suspicious thing here, majority of planets - Sun, Mercury, venus, Mars, Saturn are in female signs, and this is a male chart  does it matters as to how one feels himself 'male enough'

and Moon is conj Uranus in the 6th house maybe giving problems of mental nature, and Mercury is cazimi(very powerful mind) but of nervous constitution.

and most important - with a chart this heavy and problems persisting, is there any hope for overcoming it?

many thanks in advance:eek:

hermetic,

I have a few thoughts to add.....

The thing that jumped out at me the most is Mars in Cancer smack on the cusp of the 3rd house. How is he at communicating his feelings/emotional intimacy? Also Saturn in Cancer rules the 9th (turned 3rd of those who mirrored him while growing up). Mars in Cancer often has a real love/hate relationship with their mother. Saturn in Cancer ruling the turned 3rd of those who mirrored him could show a cold and/or demanding mother.

In addition Mars in Cancer on cusp of 3rd is exactly inconjunct Neptune(r) in Sag, in the 7th. This can show a few things: (1) Possibly his religious beliefs are interfering. He may have been trained to wait until marriage, and believes internally he is violating this. (2) The beliefs of his peer group may be influencing him and causing confusion. I've read that Mars in Cancer often cannot perform unless they feel emotionally attached. Neptune(r) in Sag, ruling the 11th, can show that he has conflicting beliefs about casual sex. Pornography could have influenced him at some time, as well. The conflicting beliefs he may have internally "does not compute".

Both the ruler (Mercury in Taurus) and co-ruler (Chiron in Aries) of the 5th house are in the 12th. 12th is house of self-sabotage, shame, and things he wishes to keep hidden. Also subconscious programming. Mercury is conjunct Sun, ruler of IC. Some issue one way or another regarding his mind/ego and sensuality/physical comfort/pleasure. Aries rules initiation, competition - also sense of "maleness".

With Moon in people-pleasing Libra in the 6th, and Virgo on cusp of 5th - he may feel a lot of internalized pressure to "perform" sexually, and thus may suffer from performance anxiety. Pluto(r) in Libra in 5th - co-ruler of the 7th, can show a feeling of an imbalance of power in his relationships. He may see sex as being "owned" by the female (if his mother was overbearing) and may thus not be able to fully commit himself to the process. (5th house also rules the inner child).

With Venus at 29*Pisces and Jupiter exalted in Pisces - both in 11th - he sounds like the makings of a very spiritual person who needs to learn true compassion and understanding with females as friends.

Although, with Venus squaring Saturn in Cancer - he may have issues with feeling subconsciously that women really just want him for what he can give them materially - and may try to win their love in this manner. This would ,of course, further sabotage his true needs to connect emotionally with a woman.

Hope that sheds a little light somewhere,

Freedomlover

When people face any kind of difficulties in their lives, strong challenging aspects are likely to be more significant than either signs or houses. I would look to this man's Mars (male sexuality) conjunct Saturn (limitation, frustration) involved in a T-square with Pluto (undermining) and Venus (his image of the feminine).

Can he overcome it? I don't know. A lot will depend upon whether he wants to overcome it. Some men would rather avoid sex with a partner than address what for them can only be very personal, humiliating issues.

Hermetic,

You have given some good pointers already, such as 5th-house ruler placed in the 12th-house of seclusion, yearning and platonic desires. Note also that the ruler of the house of sexual and romatic pleasures, the 5th, is neutral Mercury.

As regards the Pluto-Mars aspect, it can lead to times of extreme sexuality or even lack of it (Pluto being the planet of extremes). However, this config usually results in above-average sexual passions and desires with high-voltage energy. Sex can become a vent for releasing blocked energies, it may even become an obsession; it will be transformational.

I think the main factors 'casting shadows' and problems on this person's sexuality are the Saturn-Mars conjunction: blocked/repressed/inhibited sexual energies and activity; even hidden fears related to sexuality (or failing at it); and the very tight Neptune-Mars inconjunct. Neptune might dissolve the sexual fire of Mars, thereby disillusioning the native in this area. On a more psychological and theoretical level, the problem here is that whilst Mars wants to go ahead and assert its individuality (even through sexuality), Neptune does just the opposite and wants to retreat and dissolve plus unify all boundaries into universal oneness. Neptune knows no ego or singular identity. Neptune will literally rob Mars of its energy and drive. People with Nep-Mars aspects will usually have problems expressing the Martian qualities of drive, anger, individuality, and even masculinity in an outright and straightforward manner (of course you have to consider other aspects as well).

Hope this explains a bit.

easiest way to know in vedic astro is by casting a chart using any indian ayanamsa (raman, k.p or lahiri) and see were venus is placed in male chart.

if venus is placed in a sign, whose owner is retrograde in same chart, then male will be impotent

impotency depends on when retrograde started and will end during birth time.

2. venus afflicted by Ketu(moon's south node) will cause less sperm count or ovary count for male/female

3. venus afflicted by saturn will cause partial impotency. male/female will lose sexual interest during sex

how to cure impotency permanently

ok, a big thanks to everyone who replied here :)

freedomlover, you're really good! I've been reading your replies on other threads also and seems like you always go to the hidden causes of the obvious - and to the point I must add. You made some really astonishing remarks about this person in question...

In addition Mars in Cancer on cusp of 3rd is exactly inconjunct Neptune(r) in Sag, in the 7th.

this is something I haven't noticed before thanks for pointing it out and both you and aquarius7000 made some great explanations of it, I think I understand it better now

Both the ruler (Mercury in Taurus) and co-ruler (Chiron in Aries) of the 5th house are in the 12th. 12th is house of self-sabotage, shame, and things he wishes to keep hidden. Also subconscious programming.

again, I didn't pay attention to Chiron, this may also be the reason why I feel for him this is completely subconciouss problem and thus hard to cure :(

and the next part literally blew me away with it's accuracy

With Moon in people-pleasing Libra in the 6th, and Virgo on cusp of 5th - he may feel a lot of internalized pressure to "perform" sexually, and thus may suffer from performance anxiety. Pluto(r) in Libra in 5th - co-ruler of the 7th, can show a feeling of an imbalance of power in his relationships. He may see sex as being "owned" by the female (if his mother was overbearing) and may thus not be able to fully commit himself to the process. (5th house also rules the inner child).

I do feel he regards females as more powerful. and the pressure ot perform part is 100% true.

what abot the possibilty of children for this person, since 5th house ruler is both sex and children, although Mercury is in 12th, it is also in the heart of Sun and applying sextile to Jupiter:confused:

.

Blame it on my Uranus/Pluto conjunction in Virgo in the 8th square Mercury(r) in Sag in the 12th. Born to ferret out the hidden, I guess.:D
I'm glad that I was able to shed some light on it for you.

what abot the possibilty of children for this person, since 5th house ruler is both sex and children, although Mercury is in 12th, it is also in the heart of Sun and applying sextile to Jupiter:confused:
Ruler of 5th, Mercury in Taurus, is tightly conjunct ruler of the 4th, Sun in Taurus, and cazimi, as you pointed out. It looks like children may be part of his life plan in a big way. This conjunction is in the 12th, but within orb of conjunction to his AC.

I would think these issues may be pertinent:

He may want children but is self-sabotaging his desire in some way due to not being emotionally ready for them. He must overcome his own inner child issues first, esp. those with feeling overpowered by women. On an inner level he knows that this must come first. ( this may also be part of his sexual issues - a deep fear of getting the woman pregnant). He really has the chart makings of a good father, I think, once his issues are overcome and he is emotionally healthy.

He may also have issues about having to materially support a child, as well as issues about "feeling owned" himself. (Taurus rules possessions and ownership.) This can karmically sabotage any desire or ability to have children, if he has past life karma concerning trying to "own" one's children. Taurus is a very fertile sign, but is in the 12th house, implying big issues. Or like I said, it can simply imply that he knows on a deep inner level that he is here to overcome his own inner child issues with women first. That's really the way it should be anyway. Let the child grown up emotionally before the child has children. He could be feeling pressure from family and society to "get married and have children", though.

The Sun/Mercury conjunction is in a separating, not applying sextile with Jupiter in Pisces in the 11th. He isn't adopted, by any chance, is he? He could also have a special heart for adopted children with Venus at 29*Pisces and Jupiter in Pisces in the 11th. There's a possibility that he could focus that route.

Taurus also rules patience and trustworthiness - so he does or should strongly identify with these qualities as part of his life lessons. The Sun/Mercury cazimi in Taurus can show that he does or should develop a great consciousness for the Divine Feminine. Also, being very "green" and Earth conscious. He may be concerned about overpopulation - and too many children being born that are unwanted and unloved.

Just some more ramblings..... Hope it helps.....

I know this is an old thread but one of my guy friends has the same placements. Mars in Cancer, retrograde pluto in the 5th house. And the ruler of the 5th in the 12th. And I think he has sexual problems. Based on our encounter and the fact that he has "fast sex"
