Since Jupiter is about to oppose my 10th house mercury & moon I would really like to find a good interpretation of what it means. The problem is almost everyone knows what a Jupiter conjunction/sextile/trine means but nobody fully understands what Jupiter does when he is in hard aspect. What do you think guys? Does he bring gifts that challenge the planets he is hard aspecting? Do hard Jupiter transits bring misfortune? Overoptimism?

An unfortunate aspect from Jup points to extreme excess. Over-confidence. It could be unfortunate.
If you might describe how you characterize your Moon Merc in the 10th, then we can begin to hone in on tr-Jup opposing them from the 4th.
Also, does your Moon rule your 9th?
