Why am I a loner?

If you we're in fact born October 22, 1978 at 12:30 you have a Sagittarian ascendant. The ascendant is at 21 degress into Sagittarius, so much of Capricorn is still your 1st house; which is where Vesta sits in your chart.
Birth time for Daisyd is 12:30am, making the ascendant Leo.

I'm a bit of a `fan' of Chiron, and can usually detect a lot about a person's motivation just by looking at their Chiron placement.

Further to what I wrote above re Chiron in 10th (in Daisyd's chart) being the position of a focused and even devout person (not necessarily in a religious sense) you also have a T-Square with Chiron in Taurus forming an opposition with mercury in Scorpio - itself a quite stressful and focused placement, since you are capable of perceiving the world at a much sharper level than most, and this can lead to you being misunderstood - and this opposition being squared to the Jupiter/Ascendant conjunction. Again, Mercury in a square to the ascendant can produce confusion & even anxiety in communicating with others.

This T-Square seems to create a real dampener on your Jupiter/Asc conjunction in Leo. That is, you should be a very out-going type of personality, which I'm sure you are, but there are other aspects to your ascendant which can potentially tie you up within yourself.

And as one loner to another (and I'm a Leo, so technically I should be out socialising all day and night) at least when mostly in your own company, you have no-one else to blame other than yourself if you get bored.

Whoops...my mistake. This means Vesta and Pallas are in your 5th house and not your 1st house as I first thought.

Where are you looking to find friends? Gemini on 11th house cusp and mercury in fourth imply to me for you to look for friends at bookstores and libraries and (LOL) on-line. Particularly I see that you meet your friends at a Gemini place (words and numbers) and you bring them to your home (mercury in fourth house) --implying that books are some of your friends and that you have many of them (Gemini--multiplicity). Moon in cancer in the 11th often implys computers and the on-line stuff.

Additionally, there are aspects that would be favorable for becoming a writer, possibly about home decor/maintainance/repair.

As I read the original post, they were not necessarily looking for friends, but rather looking to their natal chart for indications of why they found others uninteresting or uninspiring.

Whilst moon in the 11th would indicate an emotional need for friends, moon in Cancer is exceedingly private, and the native will withdraw rather than pursue a friendship which is not right for them. Moon in the 11th would also bring fluctuations to the state of one's friendships - the feast or famine syndrome.

And as I mentioned earlier, Chiron in 10th house is a very powerful placement, and can be a bit confronting to others. A person with this placement exudes an aura of being self-sufficient and in charge of things, even if they don't actually feel that they are.

That was indeed nice of you Nejispirit - but can you explain how you did it as, despite the many times it has been explained on the forum, I still cannot do it myself and maybe Daisyd cannot either. (Also, the image you posted has now expired - because (I think) it has to be saved from astro.com to somewhere like photobucket (to host) and then posted from there to here.)

EJ:)

Temp files soon disappear. there is a thread on how to upload charts off astro.com Go to Extended chart selection, go down page to ratio select 63% calculate chart, on picture right mouse click save target pic as to harddrive. Then if you have any pics software or go to paint, try to reduct image by cut, trim so its 800x 800 or it wont upload...

Pluto in 11th is notorious for being a loner aspect...;)

I have stellium of planets, taurus in 4th and am homebody but not a loner, that's rather massive assumption.....

Just means spend more time there, enjoy family matters, raising kids, likes nice comfortable house, enjoys entertaining, esp venus n 4th (bake a cake syndrome....)

Also means you could work from home (like i do....) focus on home etc.. Doesn't mean to say your are a loner though...

The first thing I noticed also is Jupiter in the 12th which could give you an abundance of subconscious thoughts towards isolation which you emotionally manifest in dealing with people....

Jupiter is also square Uranus, the planet which rules your 7th house of partnerships. As far as not really wanting to be bothered in your home, Jupiter in your 12th is also square Mercury down in your 4th house of home. Although your sun is not in Scorpio, it is in the 4th, jupiter is also square to it as well. There is a conflict however between your subconscious thoughts Jupiter and your emotions Moon. Moon is in Cancer and Cancer generally does not like to be alone. Moon is the natural ruler of the 4th. While Jupiter is square Mercury, Sun and Uranus, all of the planets having to do with your home and partnerships. Yet, Moon is trine Mercury Sun and Uranus.

There could be a variety of reasons ... however it's noticeable that since starting this thread you've never been back to thank people for their contributions or offer more input.

That could be because you've lost interest and don't care anymore; it could be because you feel scared to give people further feedback, it could be for another reason I haven't mentioned. However if you understand why you haven't bothered then it might help find the astrological reasons behind it.

DaisyD,

Possibly you are a loner as described by these things present in your chart:

Moon in Cancer ( mother issues, feeling rejected or unsafe) is in the 11th. Moon rules the 12th. This may have originated in this life, with your mother/mother figure or in a past life where you feel rejected/ unsafe. Being in the 11th, it involves how you feel amongst groups of people. Mercury in Scorpio on the cusp of the 11th is in the 4th. So this problem may also have its roots in your childhood. Mercury in Scorpio can be manipulative, coercive, and may demand something in return. So tie these issues into groups somehow.

Uranus in Scorpio ( also in the 4th ) rules your 7th house. So, you definitely have issues regarding one-on-one relationships with others. Uranus in Scorpio can show that you have a great need to break free from manipulative, coercive people who demand something in return.
(Good news - this also looks positive for a sudden relationship to develop with your soulmate once these issues are overcome)

Also, Jupiter in Leo, ruler of 5th and 8th, is hiding in the 12th. I would interpret this as possibly you are afraid to attract attention to yourself, esp, in regards to 5th and 8th house matters ( romance, sexual encounters, children)

Daisy,

You have Moon (change) focused in the 11th house (friends). Wherever the Moon is in a chart indicates change. So, with Moon in your 11th house, you change your friends or your friends change around you.

Changeably at home,

Tim

Dear Daisy, you are lucky. I have my Moon in 7th... and Uranus, and Pluto...
At least you will be changing friends and meeting new people. I have to change husbands...:(

Also, my natal is somehow inverse of yours. I have my stelium in 10th and Sun in conj. with MC. I will admit something today. I acctualy live in my working place - I mean with 1m distance (or less)... I don`t have ``working hours`` or ``home atmosphere``. I am constantly working...
Staying at home is nice but, it was many years ago and I don`t even remember any more what the ``home atmosphere`` is...Somehow, I am also a loner...

Daisyd,

Interesting that you would ask that question because I've been contemplating that recently. I've noticed that people that have the "promise" in their charts of spending time alone usually have some type of 12th house emphasis. After looking at your chart, (thanks nejispirit:) ) I see that the most elevated planet in your chart is the moon, which is the ruler of your 12th house. You also have the ruler of the 5th (personal expression) in the 12th. Following the keywords of Jupiter and Sag., you may feel more free to be yourself when your alone. I also noticed you have a lot of activity in the home (4th), most of your planets are in the "personal" (lower left side) of chart, and the chart is in a bowl pattern which can also be self-contained.
Hope this helps a little!

I'm also a loner. It's a habit I plan on breaking one day.:p
Anyway, Summerstar, you could of been describing my chart there.
The most elevated planet in my chart is the sun which rules my 12th house. The ruler of my fifth house, saturn, is located in the 12th house.
I also have 2 planets plus my south node in the 8th.
