Money (Gold) can make many things; it makes a low-born person as if of noble-birth; a mud-head as if an all-knowing scholar; a layman as if a highly learned genius; a man with bad qualities as if a man with all virtues; a dumb person as if an effective orator, an ugly person as if very handsome ; thus money can make anything and everything. Human beings need money to satisfy their desires and to enjoy comforts in life. Even Sanyasis need more money for living and propagation of their ideas


What is wealth?
Anything object which is in unity with you in the present life. This can be emotional (Family, Friends,etc),educational(Degrees,knowledge,teachers,fellow students) and Financial(Money,Property,Other Assets).
In this post we will discuss material wealth in kaliyuga.
The 2 houses which govern wealth
2nd house Accumulation
11th house Earning, I would like to add some extra information on
Why 11th house?
To become super rich you need unity of energy. Energy when applied is Karma. With a powerful 11th house or 11th lord you get benefits from others Karma/Energy. So logically it allows you to use others energy for personal gains.
Mathematically if Ascendant is 1(1st house)
1+1 = 2(2nd house)
1?1 = 11(11th house)
So now for the combinations
Planetary combinations for wealth (Dhana Yogas) and illustrated examples:
I have attached a chart herein we should give you an indication of the wealth by comparing it with combinations below
1. Lord of lagna and the 2nd lord. Guru and Shani in 10th house
2. Lord of lagna and the 5th lord. Guru aspects Mars (Combination of property success)
3. Lord of lagna and the 9th lord. Guru aspects Sun Combination of Political /Philosophical success)
4. Lord of lagna and the 11th lord. Not present
5. Lord of the 2nd house and the lord of the 5th house. Shani Aspects Mars(Both Property karakas)
6. Lord of the 2nd house and the lord of the 9th house. Shani Aspects Sun(Politics and Law)
7. Lord of the 2nd house and the lord of the 11th house. Not present but should be considered as a highest combination of wealth in Natal chart.Remember 11th house is 10th from the 2nd house. (But the real wealth of the 2nd house is in the 11th from itself which is the 12th house. This is proof which shows the power of giving/charity). Complicated and True.

8. Lord of the 5th house and the lord of the 9th house. Sun and Mars in 4th house(Property karaka)
9. Lord of the 5th house and the lord of the 11th house. Not present however 5th rules gambling, shares,trading etc so a good combination for traders, accountants,bankers,etc.)
10. Lord of the 9th house and the lord of the 11th house.Not present again 9th house is called the house of luck and the combination improves chances of success how small it may be.
Note: We have seen the importance of the 2nd and the 11th house generally for gains. But the 5th and the 9th houses are known in Hindu astrology as Lakshmi sthanas or the houses of the goddess of wealth.


1.Raj Yogas:The above dhan yogas are also Raj Yogas as per Brihat Prasara Hora Shastra.
2. Vasumathi Yoga: All benefics in upachayas. Present
Venus, Mercury and Guru in 3 and 10th house. Upchayas are like fertile land and when all natural benefics sit in the upchayas they prosper. It is a process and it wealth grows with time.
3.Lakshmi Yoga Combination in form of conjunction or aspect or exchange of lords of 1st and 9th house. In the chart Lord of 1st guru is with 9th lord sun.

Now uniting everything above:
1st/4th lord Guru(Ascendant)+2nd lord(Shani)+5th house(Mars)+9th house(Sun) all in Kendra/Centre/Vishnu Sthana.
Laxmisthans are 5th and 9th
Vishnu Sthanas 1,4,7,10 .
So MahaLaxmi sitting with MahaVishnu in the centre. The 1 and 9 combination is a great protector, indicating divine grace to the person throughout life.
4. Panch Anana Yoga: When all 9 planets sit in 5 houses (Rahu and Ketu included). Sanskrit verse
Nava-grahe pancha-raasi gathau, Pancha-anana yogamuchyathe; thatha raja-yogameva prayachathi
The person enjoys happiness, health, wealth, and high-stature all his life.It also diminishes or negates any bad yogams in the chart.
This could be the saving grace, Why ?
The chart has a Kemdhruma yoga,Angarakha yoga, Grahan yoga.

D9 Chart/Navmansa. Is said to be the fruit derived from tree.
Navmansa Lagna mercury in the 3rd house/upachaya house with Rahu. 3rd house is the natural house of mercury(gemini being the 3rd sign)
Conjunction of lord of 5th and 9th house in the 9th house aspected by the lord of navmansa lagna.
Shani and Venus in 9th house aspected by Mercury. Rahu and ketu.
As per ancient vedas Mercury signifies MahaVishnu and Venus signifies is MahaLaxmi.Rahu and Ketu form the serpent. Shani is the giver of the fruits of karma.
So again we see a combination which takes us back to one thing?
Chandra mangal yoga in 12th house. Dhan yoga of the the 3rd quality as it happens in the moksha house.
Lord of 8th house mangal in 12th house. Vipreet Raj yoga.
This is my analysis of the chart attached.
One has to remember that in Kaliyuga there is maya everywhere and what looks true now might become false tomorrow and the false can become true in the game of illusion.

jup-sat conj good for research-economics etc but considered stingy towards wealth, jup-sat virgo critical thinking-attitude good for quality control-audit roles, public admin.

Moon position shows person born in Pushya Nakshatra 1st pad. Saturn indicates age around 34 years.

Dasa is relevant. Person might be going through Ketu dasa.

If we wish to analyse ' material wealth' we must understand Ketu in this chart as it is in 2nd house & Dasa is running.

It needs your confirmation about these facts to move further, preferably sharing with birth details.

Ketu is in Sravana constellation, which is very adverse for the native. Ketu Dasa may INDICATE negative results with regard to finance.

As the name suggests a Tapasvi is an object which can single mindedly work on a particular task till the object unifies with the other desired object.

Apparently materialistic or ordinary persons can have Tapasvi yoga.
Tapas is control of the mind for the achievement of certain objectives. It is always indicative of yogic discipline and practice from this and prior lifetimes.
Differences between austerity for spiritual and material purposes.
The tapas could be for material or non material/spiritual gains.

Its important to note this combination for working out the wealth, Why?

1.Venus is the atmakaraka for the chart at 25 degree.
2.Lord of 2nd and 9th house in D9
3.Sitting in the 9th house with
a.Saturn who is the lord of 2nd house in D1
b. Ketu who sits in the 2nd house in D1.
Overall, the focal point happens to be the 2nd house.

Shri Shantramji, I cannot link your analysis to the person's life.Kindly compare your d9 chart with the chart attached.
With Ketu dasha running I have advised the person to do Ganpati honam and Shiv aradhana. As Ketu in a chart acts with a force of repulsion of the factors governing the house were it sits.
I have to say this that fortunately for him he has a shiv linga with a swaymbhu om in the middle. He has in the past found shiv ling from the sea and its strange but true that the Lingam follows him.
The proof like a xray is to been seen as the person has Trilochana yoga in the d1 chart.

D9 is the chart for marriage,wife.
Venus is hemmed by saturn and ketu.
Lord of 7th Mercury is combined with rahu.
This person should not marry.
Wife will be the cause of material downfall. Cause and Effect theory, Sanchit karmas with Saturn's involvement with the lord of 7th house in D9.

Any combination of 1,4,7,10 and 5,9 will make a person famous and happy.I have tried adding some proof to the statement.

This has so far been true for the chart in question.
The person is famous for his singing abilities and his songs in the past have been played on the radio. Singing here is not his career but a talent,
like in sports cricket which has bought him fame and has been in newspapers at least once a year.If you go back 100 years(Sorry ketu speaking), you will find that there were certain o classes allowed to play cricket in certain places and the game was limited to nobility. This I think can be linked to the Raja yogas present due to the sanchit karma of the object.
The person has done modelling before and has been on the cover page for his college and work magazine/newspaper and is well known.
Equally respected, followed and envied by many.


Also remember Sun is the king and Saturn denotes general public/common men.
Any combination of both these planets gives entry into politics. Again in kaliyuga you cannot enter politics till you have the blessings of rahu.

Mercury is a karaka of communication in 3rd house of communication. The person could do well in journalism and writing skills.
Venus in the 3rd house makes the person sweet communicator. Again due to venus being the lord of not one but 2 upachaya houses(Growing Wealth) in the 3rd house(again upachaya) gives gains through speech. However his shukra mahadasha starts in 2020 so long way from now.


Happiness cannot be measured by material wealth. You might be disabled, old mentally retarded, busy and might not have the chance to enjoy your material wealth. I have seen charts who have material wealth with rahu in the 2nd house(instead of ketu) but they cannot satisfy the craving for more which again hampers the point of enjoyment of material wealth.

Generally happiness is temporary, as you are not born on this earth for enjoyment, but to understand this fact and still enjoy is a blessing in disguise.

Venus, Ketu & Saturn are in 9th house { In Dharma Trikon} of Navamsa chart.

"In D9 (navamsha) Tapaswi yoga means dedication in Dharma (Duties)" [ from the link provided]



Tapaswi Yoga may not be relevant in this chart as the the lord of nakshatra of Ketu { Moon} is situated in 8th house, which linked Ketu to 8th house.

Yogas work in consonance with the basic promises of the Planets & Bhavas of the chart. Too much reliance on Yogas { without understanding the natal chart in depth} will hinder to assess the probable happenings of future event.

Astrology is like 5 blind men and the elephant. You can contradict but it is in the events and actions can we really justify the fruits reaped from the karmas accrued. So I disagree on your point as I see a connection of the artha trikona to the dharma trikona.
