What is he feeling about me?

Hello,
This is my question.. it is too early?! Because I saw the ASC at his first degrees.
I don't know if is too early, since we had a relationship, but broke up. I am curious about his feelings for me at the moment...
I observe Mars square Venus.. this is not OK from what I have read earlier.
Can someone help me with the interpretation of this chart? All the explanations are welcome, since I am learning about this.

Venus and Mars are both moving away from each other now that Mars has just turned retrograde. He/Venus receives you poorly by reception, since you/Mars are in the sign of Venus' detriment.
This relationship looks like it is over. I don't see that he has feelings for you now.
