New Technology Stores Extra Heat From Summer to Use in Winter

The technology uses the chemical sodium hydroxide (NaOH), commonly known as lye, to store the heat. When dry sodium hydroxide is exposed to water, it undergoes a chemical reaction that releases a large amount of heat. In sunlight, that water evaporates, drying out the sodium hydroxide and resetting the reaction. The dry sodium hydroxide is very stable, which means it can be stored for months or even years as long as it isn't exposed to water.

The ‘World’s smallest computer’ could be manufactured for under 10 cents

The world’s smallest computer is one-by-one millimeter in size, according to The Verge. IBM says it can have as many as one million transistors and will cost under 10 cents to create.

https://inhabitat.com/worlds-smallest-computer-could-be-manufactured-for-under-10-cents/

However, it will soon become obsolete:

Today, quantum computing is a researcher’s playground. In five years, it will be mainstream.

Quantum computers are incredibly powerful machines that take a new approach to processing information using the principles of quantum mechanics. The computers we use today are known as classical computers. They have enabled amazing things and become ubiquitous in our lives. There are, however, still problems they can't solve. These problems generally involved exponential scaling such as large-scale optimization or chemistry simulations. Quantum computers are being built to work with classical computers to potentially solve these problems.

The benefits of dharma recounted by the Buddha and his disciples
are the results of the proper practice of dharma.
You cannot reap all those benefits just by listening to a few teachings.
If you do not practice
you will think that the dharma does not work
– especially when problems arise and you cannot deal with them.
You might even give up the dharma and never benefit from it.
To enjoy its positive effects, practice it first

“...They’re Inserting Covid Passport Microchips WHERE...?”

This Is CRAZY!!
I'm sure there's no reason hackers would be interested
in learning to take advantage of such a technology.

Sounds perfectly safe & trustworthy.

Pros: You don't have to carry keys , wallet and ID.

Cons: you can be remotely locked out of your work, car and house

and prevented from buying and selling anything
by whomever is in control of this system.

Plus you can be tracked anywhere to help with orderly removal
if you become an enemy of the state.
Where do I sign up!

What bothers me is
how people are so easily manipulated.
The propaganda is pervasive
and though it's so clumsily done it seems to work quite well.
This is much scarier than the chips themselves.

Techno-consumer slavery seems to be the "future" society is walking toward.

Humans. Our higher intelligence is only matched by our animal stupidity.

I originally saw this written in chalk by a houseless person on a drugstore parking lot:

We're all here because we're not all there

India has recently achieved a breakthrough in green hydrogen technology
as they have found some really efficient electrolytes that can be used
to produce hydrogen from water by using Solar energy.
These electrolytes bring down the energy requirement
to break the hydrogen oxygen bond in water using less energy :)

Adani is investing $50 billion in new green hydrogen plants
to create world’s largest green energy ecosystem :)

Hair, is an environmentally friendly resource
that can soak up around five times its weight in oil.
So, the nonprofit called Matter of Trust
is making special mats and booms - long tube-like products
out of human hair to clean up spills.

A single mat can absorb up to 1.5 gallons of oil. :)
