Natal Chart: Empty 2nd house

Dear All:

Sorry if this is another "Am I going to be rich?" question.

But my empty 2nd house!!!! I'm just wondering if the fact that both jupiter and my II house is in Leo matter or possibly interconnected? Are there any other signs or houses that can indicate my source of financial support??

Furthermore, the X house, or the so called the career house, how it being in Aries, and how will the Venus take it as?

In terms of planet connection, my sature is in direct opposition with my jupiter. I read from other posts that it's a "very bad thing" :crying: Can someone please explain that???

And, recently I have been feeling incredibly unlucky. Both socially and academically. My mood these days have been going down the sink, rather than feeling the need to advance, I've been holding back, I wonder if Mercury and its position can explain some of my troublesome self-regulation...or is it just...me...

Clearly there is still confusion in Astrology which I do not understand as I'm trying to understand my own chart. Therefore ANY help interpreting my natal chart will be GREATLY appreciated!!!! And thank you for stopping by my thread!!!!

klaira,

Transiting (moving planets in the sky) is on your birth IC (inner world), indicating a time of "going inward". You may want to retreat from the world at this time, as you inwardly work on structuring your life. Over time, you will "work things out" inwardly and be ready to go back out in the world again. Give yourself time and learn the lessons of the moment.

Suggesting,

Tim

You may have an empty second house, but look at where the RULER of the 2nd house is. The Ruler of your 2nd house of material possessions and money is the Sun, which is in your 9th house of philosophy and global awareness. Good jobs for you could be in law enforcement, criminal justice, and politics.

Thank you very much for responding Tim. I have been thinking a lot about the things I should do for career, and I have been thinking a lot about just my personality and the "meaning of life" in general. And just these few days I've been walking out of it, but still finding a way to balance out the inner and the exterior world. I know that IC stands for the inner world, but how exactly does a transiting planet affect the way or change in environment of one?

Thank you very much for responding Chris. This solved a lot of my confusion! :joyful: However, will the fact that the sun sign is resting on the 9th house do anything to help my 2nd house? Also, the mercury is sitting in the unlucky 8th house, but some internet source said that it may be beneficial if it is in a "good position". And how do I determine whether a planet is in a good position or not?

transiting planets provide focus, to klaira

A transiting planet provides focus. The IC is one of the four strongest points (the others are the Ascendant, Descendant, and Midheaven) in the chart, so when a transiting planet moves across one of these points, it provides a strong focus on that point. With transiting :saturn: moving across your IC, there is a strong :saturn: focus on IC-things.

Focused,

Tim

Your 2nd house ruler the SUn is in good aspect to your 5th house ruler Pluto which deals with speculation, lotteries etc and personal income and material goods.

The 8th house of shared assets such as syndicates and gifts etc ruler is Uranus and it sextiles Pluto. There is a possibility of wins but not a huge fortune I would not think. There are chances of being involved with large corporations in this so if you can join a syndicate or play at the casinos etc you can be lucky. However with the Moon in the 8th square Pluto in the 5th this is less likely....I would not be involved with women in this venture or family members. I think there is a chance of compulsion or addiction and be careful of that.

Bearing in mind that a transit has to trigger the influences off from the natal chart........through the 2nd, 5th, 8th and perhaps if you are involved with co workers, then the 6th.

I have only addressed the get rich question here.

I would advise you anonymise your chart as well for privacy reasons.

Wow sounds very interesting (yet confusing). As a novice I still haven't got to the solar returns, but I'll keep that in mind. Followup question: Ascendant represent how others see you, descendant represent a personality that would suit you as a partner the most, but what exactly do midheaven and IC represent? Or do they not have a fixed representation? Thank you for responding BTW.

Thank you for responding Claire . The name appeared on the chart is not the real name so don't worry haha. You mentioned gifts in the 8th house? But I thought the 8th house represent regeneration, death, and sex:andy: The position of Uranus in my chart does not appear to be in a good position, does that affect anything in respect to wealth? And, casino something I've never thought of, but very interesting to know  I'm currently on the medical track but not sure about it.

I've just realized that most of my planets positioned to the upper right, which means focusing more on the outside world rather than inside, and more extrovert than introvert. This, however, is an apparent opposite of what I am right now, but I do know that I am subject to change in the future once I step into career. My question is, is focusing on the outside world and being extrovert something I am situated in the future? If so, that can bring some important clue about what job I will get.

By whole sign houses, Jupiter is in your 2nd house, and it is in triplicity, which is decent. But, it is retrograde, and faces an exact opposition from Saturn. So from a traditional standpoint, I would say that you probably won't be rich. But, since Jupiter rules your 9th house, I would say your best chances for getting money would be by traveling abroad or getting some higher education. And those things can't hurt, even if you don't get rich.

Furthermore, the X house, or the so called the career house, how it being in Aries, and how will the Venus take it as? Mars rules aries and is conj 12th house cusp therefore is harder to access this energy. It also suggests a frustrations of actions from childhood.

Jupiter opposition Saturn
The opposition between Jupiter and Saturn suggests difficulty in recognizing personal limitations. In one sense this is good. You continue to plod forward in the face of just about any adversity, and you may face a good deal of adversity. This aspect often shows success coming in the later part of life. There is a tendency to compare yourself unfavorably with other people.

Firstly, for a proper evaluation you should consider posting your chart with progressions and transits on same wheel found in extended chart selection. Reduce the ratio of orbs to 80%, select smallest image size 63% on picture, then choose house system (my personal preference is for Equal house rather than the default of placidus), right mouse click and select 'save target pic as' and save to hard drive then upload here

Career options are assessed by MC any planets conjunct, where the ruler of MC is placed, it’s aspects, then 2nd house ‘how you earn your money’ and planets there, ruler of cusp and where it’s placed, then 6th house of ‘type of work you do’ any planets there and how they are aspected.

With sun and mercury in 9th house, suggests teaching, higher education, travel, journalism, legal work. With mars in 12th suggests working behind the scenes

Sorry if this is another "Am I going to be rich?" question. But my empty 2nd house!!!!

The 2nd house is about values and possessions, but that is not the only source of information about "being rich". You can take a look at your venus and the aspects she is involved in, the 4th house for real estate, the 10th house for public achievements and social ascension, the 7th house for business partnerships and Ceres for resources. Jupiter is also relevant.

I'm very new to astrology but if Sun rules your money and it's in the 9th house, squaring a 12th house Mars and trining a 5th house Pluto... Hmm maybe you will get money but will be compulsive and spend the most of it or feel empty after getting it? I feel like you've already had a lot of money in your past lives though, since it is a 9th house Pisces Sun. The highest point of your wealth could be in your understanding of yourself. I'm just throwing out what I think is going on. Don't take my word for what happens. I want to analyze this chart further but I don't have too much time. Please if I'm wrong I don't wanna be roasted lol. I personally think you're going to be able to get a good amount of money, ranging from good to a pretty big amount of money (I don't think as far as to say millionaire though) through your position in your job (Mars is sextiling Venus in the 10th, while Mars rules Venus). This energy however doesn't go along with this "Understand yourself through transformation " energy that your Pluto wants. Also as you begin to understand yourself better, your ego and self esteem will automatically increase. I have Sun in the 9th in Aries ruling the 2nd house almost like you! I feel like this is sooo the case for me. (knowledge = self-esteem)
