Re: Random Thoughts, strictly Text

Does anyone know of a good Greek mythology video, where all the greek gods are combined into one video ?

I don't mean where someone is sat talking about them, i want to see them in action, being played out as a full story.

I've been looking on youtube, but i can't find what i'm looking for.

Re: Random Thoughts, strictly Text

Has anyone ever compiled statistics on how common astrological aspects are in the general population?

For example, is there a database where you can look up how common it is to have Sun trine Saturn or Venus square Mars in your natal chart?

With Moon and Venus in Aquarius in H12, I have a romantic streak to go along with it. So,

Apparently, astrologers are not statistically inclined. And, statisticians aren't astrologically inclined.

Still trying to explain how to track the Ages. The Age-Indicator has to appear in the Chart, like the Asc, Sun, Moon, and Planets. Here's how I first figured it out:
1)All movement is relative to what's held in place.
2)If you hold the sidereal zodiac in place, the tropical zodiac rotates through it, in Retrograde-motion.
3)The point used to tell us the sidereal Age-sign and degree is the Vernal point in the Northern hemisphere.
4)That Vernal point is what we use to locate the First point of tropical Aries.
5)As the Vernal point moves (retrograde) through the sidereal zodiac, the entire tropical zodiac rotates with it.
6)This means that the Vernal point cannot be used to compute the tropical Ages, because it's forever fixed at 0 degree tropical Aries.
7)Locate the First Point of tropical Aries in the sidereal zodiac, and that's the sidereal Age.
8)The exact location of the sidereal Sign-boundaries is in dispute, by as much as about 6 degrees.
9)This means that the exact location of the First Point of tropical Aries in the sidereal zodiac varies by as much as about 6 degrees, depending on which setting of the sidereal zodiac is chosen.
10)The exact sidereal position of ALL the indicators, including Asc, Sun, Moon, and Planets, and First Point of tropical Aries, varies about 6 degrees due to the various setting of the sidereal Sign-boundaries.
11)The First Point of tropical Aries moves through the sidereal zodiac at the rate of 1 degree every 71.6 years, with slight variation over a long period of time.
12)Depending on which exact setting of the sidereal Sign-boundaries is chosen, the variation concerning when the First Point of tropical Aries (moving Retro) has reached/will reach, the sidereal boundary between sidereal Pisces and Aquarius can be as much as about 400 years!
13)Once the exact sidereal position of the First Point of tropical Aries is determined by the choice of the sidereal Sign positions, it can be known, based on that choice, exactly when it has made contact with the sidereal boundary between sidereal Pisces and Aquarius.
14)That contact signals the beginning of the sidereal Aquarian Age.

That was Part One of the Ages explanation. If it needs clarification, please let me know.

I used to play classical guitar. Only reason I haven't lately is because I've had to have my guitar in storage, but as soon as its out I'm eager to start again as I loved it

I haven't had any mindblowing experiences, but I've always believed quite unshakably for reasons I'm not sure

I saw a spirit when I was young, its nature I'm not quite sure

I've used a ouija board and it got lots of activity, but I didn't hear or see anything, the results were just undeniable

I'm convinced now shadow figures by my bed during sleep paralysis as a child were real spirits

I'm not sure what this was, but yesterday my grandma was choking and so her calls were barely audible and no one could hear her. I could, but I couldn't get to her. Then I heard her brother's voice, and his voice is very distinctive and it was much louder than what she could've produced at the time, not to mention of a masculine timbre. I would like to mention he's alive, he just lives nowhere around the house my grandma does and it was WAYYY past his bedtime. Anyway, I wrote it off as my imagination, but then I heard my grandma calling for him

Still not sure what that was. Could've been a spirit imitating him or just a glitch n the matrix

What about you David?

Only in dreams. In one, my decreased father knocked on the door, and I answered it, and there he was. I knew in the dream he was deceased, So it really freaked me out, and I woke right up.

My mom's had instances like that. She had an instance where a dead relative showed up in her dream and said something in particular. Later my mom went and recounted it to my grandma who was shocked because she had never told my mom about this habit of her deceased relative and my mom was very young at the time. She's had my grandpa visit her as well as other relatives, I believe

She recounted one dream where she approached a house, just an older looking house, but all her dead relatives were inside partying and chatting it up and having the best of times. She knocked on the door because of course she wanted in, but they just told her to come back later

There are people who claim to have had actual, conscious contact with actual ghosts. And there some who say they were abducted by aliens in spacecrafts, who did things to them and then returned them home.

That's a bummer. An aspect would mean a lot more if I knew only 5% of the population had it vs. 50% or 80%.

Re: Random Thoughts, strictly Text

There's a bunch of threads over at astro.com where there are efforts to apply statistical analysis to astrology. Maybe you can hop over there and take a look at what they are doing.

There's a lot of development yet for astrological theory and practice imo.

You ever heard of Capricorn research?

Is there a certain part of Astro.com where I'll find that info? I usually only go there to throw charts or see my transits for the day.

I haven't heard of that before, but I see some very interesting topics in that list. Whoa...

You'd have to dig because there isn't much of it, and it seems like some of the posters who were interested are no longer posting in that forum. But here are 3 threads which are grounded in a sort of statistical approach, especially the last 2 out of 3 links.

Surprise:Ma/Ur is Psychic!
Pattern Distributions of 219 Psychologists' Charts
