What is your opinion of the Rosicrucianís?

108 beads, or 54 are the usual for prayer beads.

Both are nines. Yet 108 is a very Rosicrucian number.

108 is also the number of major planetary years of the moon.

And explanation of the link between the moon and that number is given in a footnote of this book.
here

I remember other reasoning regarding the major planetary years for the moon but I can't recall where I saw it.

A decent link regarding some connections between the number 108 and various facts that would be of interest to the arcane minded.

Hi Opal in esoteric lore, Sirius is the Sun behind the Sun so connected to Ra.

Hi Opal,

There are good and bad secret societies, there can be parts in good secret societies that are unsavoury, it is very difficult to know.
They undoubtedly have esoteric astrology secrets and magic that they perform, connected to Hermetic beliefs.

On another forum, my name is Astronomer 62, and during the First World War, there were a number of secret beliefs fighting for control, i feel sorry for the poor soldiers who were in the front line of this mess where dates were chosen for their psychic power.

The link to my writing on this is below, so far 5 pages, take your time reading it, for it is like "Star Wars":-

Re: The Key of Mysteries

Hi Monk,
I saw a televised program many years ago, describing Lake Titikaka as Atlantis. I will try to find it, it was extremely intriguing. Fits well with what I have read in your first link. I will take my time reading both of them. Thank you 😄 and be back!

Re: The Key of Mysteries

Hi Opal,
How i broke my back was spooky, you can read about it if you scroll down a little on link below, however the rest of thread is about zany black humour that i and Jupiter Asc indulge in, you may not understand this humour, so not a thread to take notes from:-
https://www.astrologyweekly.com/foru...=117569&page=6

Making up Jack, the Pumpkin King, who tried to steal Christmas, in the film "The Nightmare before Christmas" reminded me that i made a voodoo doll out of a skeleton and pumpkin head....Jack got me...So thats my spooky tale for Christmas, LOL!

Video below to give you the creeps:-
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6ejPG-i03I

Almost as good as "A Christmas Carol by Dickens" Ha Ha Ha!

Re: The Key of Mysteries

So it is ascertained that the key assists in time. But that elaborate of a system, is not a reason to build a key only for it. with the astrological data, on the keys, how or where should stones be for shadows. For shadows is the only thing I can think of for the tool right now.

we have obelisks, shadows

Re: The Key of Mysteries

Hi Opal,
I would love a download as an archaeoastronomer that had all ancient sites loaded into it, that would show how the shadows worked on special days, but as far as i know, it doesn't exist.

Probably the best obeliks to study are the mock one in Washington DC or the Real Obelisk that came from Thebes that sits in the courtyard of the Vatican.

I can show the star alignments on this over the next week, shadows i can't help with, sorry!
