When signs and houses are reversed/opposite in birth chart

My boyfriend has the most confusing chart I’ve ever looked at.all the signs are opposite to the house for each of his personal planets except sun.

Moon in Aries 7th house
Mercury in Cancer 10th house
Venus in Virgo 12th house
Mars in Gemini 9th house
And his north Node is Scorpio in 2nd house

How crazy is that?? How do you explain these placements?

Observant on your part, but it does not seem really crazy at all and there is nothing to explain.
The assignment of Aries to 1st house is very modern and there is really no particular or substantial association of Aries with that house, or Taurus the 2nd, etc.
I personally don't see it particularly meaningful if Aries is on his 7th, Cancer on his 10th, etc.
