Since you have your (future goals) in the transformation (also research) house, you might want to do something that involves research. Since your (thinking, also talking) is on your Descendant (others), you will most likely want a job that involves talking with and interacting with others.

Careering,

Tim

May I suggest you read the 'welcome to the world of astrology’ and other ---sticky' at the top of this forum? It has some great explanations, links etc. At the top of every forum there are lots of ‘stickys’ which explain matters in that forum, along with guidelines & tips

There is a 'plethora' of information on AW, espec in the 'stickys' at the top of every forum, our Education forum and Recommendations forum to. Plus we have a good search feature,[but not foolproof obviously, so try here first] bit like google using keywords –initially select advanced and try just selecting 'titles' rather than posts or you'll get too many threads. If this doesn’t get results then try google

http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/archive/index.php/t-5210.html

“However, in the case of both significations one must keep in mind that no one indication in the chart, not even the Part of Fortune, can be taken by itself as a total indicator of any area of life. For health one must also look at the Ascendant, its ruler, the Moon and its ruler. Also the sixth and eighth houses as indicators of illness and death respectively have strong indications for health. For material prosperity one should also look at the second house, the tenth house, and their rulers.”
http://www.astro.com/astrology/in_fortune_e.htm

“The fortune indicated by this part is not necessarily materialistic or even tangible, though it can be. It depends on the sign and house location of the Part of Fortune. The benefit can be on the physical, intellectual, emotional, and/or spiritual plane of experience. In all cases it is through the cultivation and expression of this point that one will experience harmony and a sense of well-being.”
http://www.astroresources.com/fortune.htm

“The Part of Fortune represents worldly success, and is associated with the physical body and health as well. It can be indicative of the career or vocation. Worldly success and prosperity are associated with the Part of Fortune, and both its sign and house placement suggests innate abilities and talents--areas of life and qualities that are expressed naturally.”

Your chart lacks the element of fire with only Fire Asc and no planets in fire houses, therefore energy, impetuse and action may be hard to find.

Your chart ruler mars is challenged by oppositions to neptune/uranus conjunction. on the positive side it is involved in a Kite formation, with Saturn as Apex planet. Saturn is retrograde, trapped in 12th and also challenged by opposition to sun/moon (the lights) showing. This suggests you are able to endure financial hardship (like mom) opp to moon and father was either absent, missing or ineffectual during childhood...

MC ruler is Saturn placed in 12th shows working behind the scenes or in research, or health industries - sun/moon in virgo 6th house
Venus rules 2nd and is placed in 7th conjunct 8th house cusp, showing other people's finances, banking, etc.
Leo rules 6th and placed in 6th shows an interest possibly in banking, finance, accountancy industries.

What and where do your interests lay??

Career options are assessed by MC any planets conjunct, where the ruler of MC is placed, it’s aspects, then 2nd house ‘how you earn your money’ and planets there, ruler of cusp and where it’s placed, then 6th house of ‘type of work you do’ any planets there and how they are aspected.

Researching rulers of houses will help you understand more where I joining the dots so to speak

That's why I gave you *EXTENSIVE* links for research. No one here is simply going to drop answers in your lap
My way of helping newcomers is for them to do more research and learning rather than just ‘drop the answer in your lap’ and not necessarily to provide professional readings and forecast future events. If you are truly interested in astrology, I and most others here will help you…..

Having a Sagittarius MC which is the sign of the teacher and I do indeed teach astrology. This forum is a wonderful community of all mixed levels and types of astrologers. So I may provide links to encourage you in the hope that if you are sincerely interested enough you will do the research and enlighten yourself….

Re: Crunch time&no plans,help?

Just looking at your chart quickly, you are no doubt interested in expressing yourself - Mercury in Libra loves to talk and write (and is generally rather good at it too), and you have a Mercury-ruled 3rd house of one-to-one communication.

The ruler of your Capricorn MC is Saturn in Pisces in the 12th - this is quite a difficult and fearful placement of Saturn, which is no doubt why you are stressing out about what your chart `says' or supports, rather than just following your instincts and opportunities. Be mindful that your chart can just as easily limit as show you the way.

There is some evidence that in later life - like, after the age of 35, 36 - you may be drawn to expressing yourself through helping others in a healing capacity. Your 6th house planets quite strongly suggest this.

If you wanna write, then write. If you are not good at it, then I'm sure that someone will tell you, but if you never give it a go, you will never know. Whatever you do will come with a fair degree of self-doubt, but you have to begin somewhere, some time.

R4VEN,

I m going to ask a (probably) silly question but please try not to get angry with me (you can laugh loudly, its ok with me )
Here goes the question :You came in the conclusion of age 35,36 by adding MC and Uranus degrees?

Nothing so organised!!

I came to that age as a random number - somewhere after your 1st Saturn return, and approaching the 2nd Saturn square.
What I mean by this is that a life as a healer-of-others is generally not all that likely until you have had some life experience. It could be after 40. Your Moon's North Node in Scorpio in the 8th indicates a later - after the age of 40 - life of deep introspection.
