Lost my father through Saturn antradasha

In July this year, so last month basically I lost my father to suicide and I never ever knew this would happen to me. Me and my dad didn’t have a close relationship but It was still a very hard time for me and my family. I later found out that I was going through a Saturn antradasha. My mom had to go find a job and there were many obstacles in her way before getting a job the job that she has now which doesn’t pay a lot either it’s lower than low but we were still givin insurance as well. This hasn’t effected me too much other than losing my father but it has effected my mom a lot since she wasn’t working for a very long time and than suddenly she has to so I feel like my mom is getting my Saturn influence rather than me?

But the reason I’m worried is that my Saturn Mahadasha is coming in 2024 and ends in 2043 and I was really scared about it. Would it be pain and suffering for 19 years? Please if you can give any insight on what might happen in my Saturn mahadasha than I would love to know.

You lost your father last month.
Saturn sub period was running then ! ?

Then how Saturn Mahadasa will start in 2024 ?

My opinion is - It will start around 2028.

So, your father might have died in Mercury sub period or Ketu sub period.

Oh how do you check that? I use Kundli, maybe that’s why I got a different answer? Kundli said that mines starts in 2024 though and I was going through a Saturn antradasha at that time according to Kundli

So, in July, 2018, it was Jupiter-Venus-Mercury period.

change the following settings in the software to get accurate dasha periods.

open preferences menu
related to calculations -
1) Planetary model - Drik
2) ayanamsa - Krishnamurthy (KP)
3) planet calcs - geocentric, apparent, ,,, use nutation, true nodes
you can change chart style in 'related to display'

father is represented by 9th house (coz ascendant represents the seed)

moon in asc in libra
Sun, Venus, Ketu in saggi sign
Merc in Cap
Mars in aqua
Sat in taurus
Jup, rahu in Gemini

to analyze the demise of father -
make 9th house as lagna, that is gemini lagna
then, saggi becomes badhaka, maraka house
jupiter becomes badhaka , maraka lord
venus is directly in badhaka and maraka place

Jupiter and venus became malefics from 9th house and they gave that kind of result.

So, it was happened in Jupiter dasa, venus sub period.

A planet's benefic/malefic nature depends on its house significations.

What I said is - the current sub period must Not be saturn.

the software which you are using is also correct.

Saturn is in 8th house. Saturn is a functional benefic. But its placement is not much beneficial.
So, will face some depression, stress, disappointment, ailment, conflict, in-law problem, etc.

Ahhhh I’m so scared of my Saturn mahadasha now And it’s also mutually aspected by mars which is in Aquarius. Could we also flip Saturn to the ascendant to see how it would play out? Would it change since it’s also in a friendly sign? Also aren’t in-laws represented in the 4th or 10th house not 8th ?

For ascendant siblings are to be seen from 3rd and 11th houses.

7th house is for spouse
siblings of spouse are to be seen from 5th or 9th houses.

5th lord Saturn is in 8th house.
Mars from 5th house is aspecting Saturn, 5th lord.

10th is for mother-in-law.
3rd is for father-in-law.

A house carries many roles and signifies many persons.
