What skills would a Gemini MC have?i am pursuing my goals to run my very own business,I've been taking classes and I've been doing great, though I've been somewhat depressed. Does a Gemini MC have skills such as /Quick-minded/Intelligent/Logical/Chess-master/and also good with convincing/manipulating others? I tend to not side with anyone, but though I side with everyone,I have my hand on everyone's operations, and that's an advantage for me to move up. I also have a mars in pisces square pluto (0 orb)

Anyway, the Midheaven won't tell you if you'll be a good entrepreneur - Gemini Midheaven is definitely not ideal if you want to be that. Try look at this page:

It's your ideal public persona.

Another perspective, to Imperial

Imperial,

Not everyone has issues with a Gemini Midheaven (as the author of the previous link seemed to!). Here's another perspective, pointing out that having a Gemini Midheaven means having multiple interests and having an intuitive sense of what will work, which can be a GOOD thing...maybe even for an entrepreneur:

Hi,
I have Gemini on the M.C and could relate to much in the site that Tim mentioned.
You should also look at the sign and house in which Gemini's ruler, Mercury, is positioned, as this will provide information as to how best make use of its functional communicative qualities. You should not forget that Mercury also rules Virgo, so it literally has a double function.

My Mercury is in the 9th house in Taurus.
Although I started work in a bank, that soon became dull and I applied for and got a job in the statistics (Virgo) dept. of a company that dealt with foreign trade. When I met and married my foreign husband, I moved to live abroad.
Jobs there were with an international publishing (9th house) company, first on the statistical side and then on the Gemini communication side as a correspondent with world-wide foreign subscribers.
Moved on to work for an international monetary exchange burea at the country's capitol station. Personal contact with hundreds of clients a day who exchanged one currency (Taurus influence) for another.
Left there after 10 years to study astrology (9th house), later specialising (9th house) in its medical health (9th house) side.
Returned to work, employed at a 5* international hotel in the city, where I was literally 'a bull in a china shop' selling expensive merchandise to customers from all over the globe.

When I decided to give up working altogether, I began teaching astrology at home and in community centres. This went on to giving talks (and NOT Jupiter lectures:tongue:) to various groups in my immediate vacinity.
Had three written articles published in a well-respected astro. magazine.

I think it would be true to say that my Mercury of Gemini M.C has functioned well for me.

What Mercury never does is try to convince others of its 'go with the wind' theories, unless there is a Jupiter/Sagittarius connection in the chart. Neither does it possess an iota of manipulation, unless there is an influential connection with Pluto/Scorpio.

My Mercury in Taurus with Virgo influence works through the proven fact behind a theory, and not vice-versa. Mercury will work differently through the other elements.

Yes, I want to add that I didn't mean that people with Gemini Midheaven often are bad entrepreneurs, but because of the many interests that they have, starting their own business can go wrong if you suddenly lose interest and want to do something else. If you're happy doing what you do, you're more likely to succeed (obviously) as it boosts productivity, rather than if you're miserable. :)

Generalizations can be very misleading. Just an MC in Gemini doesn't say that much. We have to take ASC, Sun and Moon and Mercury (ruler of Gemini) into account too. So I suggest you post your chart if you want a reply that fits you personally.

Generally speaking, assuming that there's an emphasis on Gemini in the chart as a whole, the Gemini is a born multi-tasker, likes to play on the intellectual plain, very logical, extremely fast thinker, prefers breadth of knowledge over depth of knowledge and gets bored very easily because he needs constant mental and sensory stimulation/input. So, where Gemini is really good at, is acquiring information and comparing information and spreading information and testing out multiple vantage points simultaneously and trying out new things. Where Gemini is not good at all is depth and commitment or empathy. Don't expect the Gemini to finish all the projects he has started. And don't expect the Gemini to do in-depth research and get to the bottom of something. And don't expect the Gemini to make tough decisions either or comfort someone in emotional distress.

So if you should indeed be heavily Gemini influenced and want to start a company then you should be the one in your company who is in charge of the free idea play (like brainstorming) and communication only and rather hire someone else with a more stable and resolute chart that sees that your projects are going to be finished and ideas are implemented when you've already forgotten about them because you've already moved on to the next project or next company or next whatever.

Communicative work, sales, counselling, academia, teaching. Anything to do with communication and/or reasoning. Intellectual professions, perhaps even the performing arts.

here is my chart overall, for anyone wanting to check it out. my MC is aspecting pluto.

Moon 13 Cancer in the 11th trine Mars 12 Pisces in the 7th :) The positive aspects to the moon make me feel like there was a receptive, nurturing mother figure. Maybe she has Aquarius in her that influenced the placing in the 11th house, or Sagittarian influences(4th house)
The 5th house Sun, Mercury and Neptune is a lovely combination. Those squares are something else. I've learned squares produce challenges, and growth. Saturn's challenges are satisfying I'm sure once overcome and you reach your mountain top :) Capricorn Sun!

The opposition with Pluto and MC is loose, 8 degrees. A closer opposition would be a closer connection with IC, in which case, the childhood may have had Plutonian themes (this was evident for me, the opposition is a 5 degree orb)

I really enjoy looking at your chart, my Venus 11 Cancer and my Gemini MC 7 degrees. Mercury's placement with Gemini MC and Virgo AC is important, and Mercury usually expresses itself well in the Uranus-ruled Aquarius. So closely linked to Neptune and Sun in the 5th house indicates talent, definitely. Neptune is dreamy and poetic. How do you feel this Neptune affects you? Do you have any artistic interests? Maybe this conjunction indicates intuitiveness

Gemini MC alone doesn't give all the answers. We have to look at the chart as a whole, the sign, house and aspects that mercury is in/makes, other planets aspecting the MC and other significant signs in the chart.

Thank you for posting your chart by the way.

You have Capricorn sun which is notorious or well known for being ambitious career wise and for having the sticking power to make it to the top despite setbacks, so this is a good sign for an entrepreneur IMO. The sun is conjunct mercury the ruler of the MC, although mercury itself is in Aquarius, I think this means a lot of your identity will be linked to your career. Also both of these are in the 5th house so you will create something, either sell what you create or create a business. These planets are also conjunct neptune, the ruler of your 7th, so you may do this with a partner, or it may be a neptunian business (artistic, related to film, music or liquids - there are many things ruled by neptune). Neptune has a problematic side as well as a positive one so there may be confusion or deception. Additionally your sun and mercury are square jupiter, the ruler of the 4th and the old ruler of the 7th, in the 8th, meaning conflict between your career and your home life, perhaps related to other people's money and loans, also possibly a conflict with the partner.

Overall I think it is a good chart for an entrepreneur.

Generally gemini MC does mean a number of interests, but it is also good for selling as it is good for communicating with others, conveying information as in media or teaching, or just for a career involving a lot of communication.

I have this and my favourite job was when I taught English abroad - my mercury is in the 11th in leo, conjunct the ruler of my 5th and my 9th. Neptune is opposite my ascendant. But my chart is very similar to that of Benedict Cumberbatch the actor from Sherlock (a couple of days apart and a very similar ascendant) and he is an actor!! Neptune opposite his ascendant and his sun being in the pisces decan of cancer contributed to that I think. We both thought about being lawyers but didn't succeed and he did teach English at a Buddhist monastery I hear, so some similarities. If only I had gone to drama school. :pouty:

Anyway good luck with your business.

I appreciate the encouragement and dedicated answer, i apologize if i havent answered in a long time :(. And honestly in my childhood i was artistic, but now im more fit into practical pursuits. Ive been taking business classes, and so far i am Going to college in ROTC so i can recieve a comission as an Army Officer (Preferably Infantry or MP). After finishing service i wanted to start my own business, start out small, and hopefully with the help of a few connections, make it a corporation. The last part is just a dream though lol, but the rest is well grounded and set up in terms of how ill do it.

When i go to college i wanted to whether get into business administration or something related to criminology. I think i am very intuitive, in terms of knowing how to plan things out or knowing people well enough to understand their strengths and weaknesses. I am very ambitious overall (despite my mars giving descriptions that insult me and my actual personality lmao) but right now in highschool ive been a bit lazy since its pointless and has no purpose to my goals.

Thank you all for such detailed answers. Alot has been going on in my life so ill try to explain how i feel about my MC.

Personally with my Gemini Midheaven, i did have multiple interests, but in a controlled group. I wasnt one moment artistic and then practical. For my personal experience, i always was the practical type. As i mentioned, So far ive planned to Comission as an army officer and do my service there, and afterwards get into running my own business or becoming a private investigator.

The only thing is i want to manufacture something big after the military. I can commit to things and will fight for what i want.

The first thing to look at with a Gemini MC is natal Merc, its sign, condition, aspect, domicile. These will give you more and useful information about a Gemini MC.
