Trayvon Martin Unarmed Teen Killed - CCTV of George Zimmerman in Police Station

A search for the word 'ground' in the Criminal Justice degree course info link that displays 'The Murder Book' highlighted in a previous post http://www.coursesmart.com/9780135009451/chap01# draws to one's attention that the 'stand your ground' laws are discussed in a chapter called 'Defenses to Murder' between pages 283, 284 and 292. The definition is clearly spelled out on page 284. Note the search box is at the top left of the page when you click on the link above.



Also, if one clicks on the online syllabus link at https://www.seminolestate.edu/catalog/courses/syllabus/dl/2127/7993/CCJ1629 and then scrolls down the page, one notes that the 12th 'bullet point' below the bolded heading 'Measurable course objectives ' clearly states the following as a measurable course objective:

“Explain the complication with many existing self-defense laws for battered women who kill their abusers.”

Therefore, one may surmise that 'Stand Your Ground' SYG would have been discussed in classes attended by George Zimmerman during the three years he was in attendance at Seminole College studying for a Criminal Justice degree.



Furthermore an interesting, thought provoking although chilling theory backed up by CCTV recordings from the night of the killing, released as part of Discovery and viewable on the following link IMO requires thorough and detailed investigation.

The analysis not only shows CCTV evidence GZ may have had an accomplice but also shows HOW the accomplice, IF GZ had one, COULD have escaped the scene within five – seven seconds of the killing. As you view the video, remember the conundrum that two sets of DNA were discovered on the gun. NEITHER were Trayvon's. One set of DNA was GZ's – the other DNA currently remains unidentified. I came across a youtube post by DiWataMan2, entitled Timeline of events George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin (don't know how to do links, sorry!) that had a map of the area, including showing where GZ lived. I hadn't realized until seeing this that if GZ drove from his house to the street to Target, he didn't pass the club house. He would have had to double back into the area, out of his way to the store, to be in front of the club house. As Judge Judy says, "that just doesn't make sense". Why would he go out of his way to go in front of the clubhouse if he was just on his way to Target? (AFTER he had finished "mentoring the children.")

So it seems possible someone else spotted TM and called GZ to meet him. This would be confirmed by texts or phone calls, if it did happen.

That video I mentioned is interesting because he mentions the 2 or 3 minutes where GZ's actions are unaccountable. It doesn't take 2-3 minutes to meet up with TM at "the T". I need to watch it again. It's a mystery to me as to what is happening all the time TM is crying for help. What do you think is happening then?

I have been looking at new and full moons, eclipses,solar returns, etc, and there certainly are many interesting connections. My notes are scattered; need to get them organized then I'll post. I really appreciate all of your posts, jupasc, even more so as I can check dates of events against transits, etc.

Events during those two minutes - due to GZ's total lack of credibility - must remain currently the subject of surmise and conjecture based on CCTV, phone records as well as witness testimony.

Basically, the struggle on the ground COULD have happened further north and nearer the "T" than where Trayvon lay dead... because it is possible that the two got back to their feet, George holding onto Trayvon's clothing, Trayvon struggling to get free as the event moved forty odd feet south. George had a gun pointing to the middle of his chest, hence the blood-curdling screams recorded by witness #11's 911 call.

I earlier surmised that Trayvon COULD have slipped and fallen in the wet grass, maybe spraining an ankle and there has been speculation that some arm-twisting, wrist twisting may have occurred as GZ attempted to restrain GZ because remember, GZ is an ex-bouncer and trained in that kind of combat...

At the very least, forensic evidence is consistent with GZ grasping Trayvon's T-shirt, preventing him from getting away so then with a gun aimed at his heart area he began those heart-rending screams.

GZ's DNA is on Trayvon's clothing.

Maybe then also IF GZ had an accomplice that's HOW Trayvon was prevented from escaping GZ's grip on the t-shirt.

Remember during the reenactment when GZ said he pulled in and parked at the clubhouse he says something along the lines of: "I don't remember if there was another vehicle parked here or not (not an exact quote)."

GZ claims during the re-enactment that he said to the first person on the scene after he fired the shot: "I said don't call 911, I need you to help me restrain this guy," BUT oddly, no witness EVER confirms that statement!

Who then was that phantom 'first person on the scene' as apparently seen AND spoken to by GZ? Did he flee within seven seconds as CCTV analysis appears to indicate?

Witness #18 saw George move back north toward the "T" after he got up off of Trayvon's lifeless body. As you have said claudette, the one thing that indicates there might have been an accomplice involved is the missing two minutes and exactly what both George and Trayvon were doing during that first minute or so. That remains a great mystery



Trayvon's prom picture shows a serious young teen who is wearing glasses. Trayvon was not wearing glasses that night, it was dark, well after sunset, it was raining so obviously maybe that's another understandable reason TM walked slowly, taking his time, looking at the houses because NOT ONLY could he not see clearly due to the weather, the time of day, BUT ALSO Trayvon was in a strange neighbourhood!

Another interesting review of the footage at the clubhouse notes that around the 8:57 mark a light comes on after banging is heard that coincides with the precise time George starts to say "Actually have them call..." The person who made the video believes that it is someone turning on their porch light. BUT Maybe though that's when GZ got his flashlight to work. The maker of the video claims that 'the light never goes away'

fwiw IMO the problem is this seems to suggest that the fight did NOT start at the 'T' - BUT Witness #11 is adamant they heard it start at the 'T' SO THEN, IF they are fighting on the ground at the 'T', how do they both manage to get their belongings so far south of the 'T' i.e. TM's phone and GZ's flashlight? There is also some speculation that TM could have started running near the mailboxes but there is no actual evidence as suchexcept that Trayvon may have been running for some time after all because Dee Dee his girlfriend says Trayvon told her he had been running and was 'tired'. Trayvon, an athletic, slender teen schoolboy must have had a reason for being so tired and the obvious one seems to be that he had been chased for some time - i.e. the chase began earlier and continued longer than GZ admits. GZ was in a car. Trayvon was walking. If Trayvon was escaping a pursuing car for some time, then it is understandable why he told Dee Dee he felt tired.

Another puzzle is where precisely did the Witness: 'Anonymous John' actually see the two individuals on the ground? The sketch he drew is needed to see if he indicates WHERE on that ground the struggle occurred.

GZ said:

My work is worth it since you are finding these notes of value claudette because it is so important to have a log of events for detailed analysis.

Also important to note times of birth of those most involved in this tragedy which IMO is closely related not only to eclipses but also to the two fixed stars Algol and Regulus.

In any event IMO fwiw these three young men need to have been traced, identified and eliminated from enquiries

Mark O'Mara says no decision has been made as to whether or not to appeal Judge Lester's refusal to step down. As there are restrictions placed on how long one waits to file an appeal - in this instance, 10 days within the date of the ruling – then, IF O'Mara/GZ doesn't respond by the end of this week (or possibly Monday at the latest presuming it is a 'business day') THEN GZ will have Judge Lester for the duration

According to new court documents released by Florida State Attorney's Office, GZ's 'docket sounding', originally scheduled for tomorrow, is delayed because GZ's defense filed a motion to continue which was granted by Judge Lester. The case against George Zimmerman will now resume in October.

Judge Kenneth Lester has agreed to the defense's request to postpone the case until Wednesday 3 October 2012 at 8:30 a.m. THAT'S JUST TWO DAYS BEFORE GZ'S 29th BIRTHDAY!!

O'Mara's gun rights speaking engagement is in September, so maybe he needs time to prepare for that so that donations to the defense fund can be aligned with the trial timeline? GZ made statements that are not backed up by evidence on the scene, evidence that includes the documented final location of TM's lifeless body - which inexplicably, somehow ended up 63 feet away from where GZ claims he shot him.

'Neighbourhood Watch' related incidents that are widely reported in news media interviews:

GZ chased a man in his car because GZ thought he was driving recklessly and that man made a complaint to SPD because he thought George was going to physically attack him.

There are black home owners whom GZ informed he was armed while patrolling. GZ knocked on their door late 2011, seemed friendly, helpful, a 'pretty cool dude, encouraging the man & his wife to arm themselves. The homeowner was so weirded out by their conversation that he stopped walking in the neighbourhood and now instead goes down town to walk for exercise because he 'fits the description' of those 'suspicious characters' GZ warned him about.

It's chilling to consider that the conversation that alarmed the black home owner to the extent that he no longer walked for exercise around the neighbourhood took place at the time GZ was setting up a 'neighbourhood watch' with himself as the 'captain' less than three months before he progressed to finally killing someone... i.e. Trayvon Benjamin Martin, a teen schoolboy still in his junior year. BUT not all residents at the gated community were aware GZ was carrying a concealed firearm AND did not know the alleged 'neighbourhood watch captain' was self-appointed. Many said GZ reportedly harassed them.


A person with a violent criminal past is 'on patrol' in a gated community, armed with a concealed firearm – that is extraordinary! In this case, it led to the willful killing of an innocent youth, legally considered a child, who had not yet completed their Junior school year. How was GZ's violent past overlooked? A key to the mystery lies in the fact that his father, a retired magistrate with connections to Sanford Police Department was also resident in the area.

At interview, Detective Chris Serino said to GZ:

“The child had no record at all, nothing in his nature that would match the behavior you describe and I want to know, everybody wants to know, what set him off. He’s not on PCP. He’s not on anything. He’s on Skittles.”

Although GZ apparently waived his right to appear in court on 3 October 2012, Mark O'Mara has nevertheless announced a SYG hearing SHALL take place which is probably why the Judge Lester therefore has initially allowed yet more time until October to prepare.

Fwiw IMO a potential SYG hearing paves the way for GZ continuing begging money from the gun rights lobby. GZ is required to take the stand during the SYG hearing BUT since he waived his right to appear at his next court appearance 3 October 2012 AND since Mark O'Mara attorney says the case is likely to come to trial in early 2013 then it would seem that the SYG hearing itself is very likely to occur in early 2013. The defense MUST PROVE a SYG claim. The prosecution will cross examine all witnesses and may present their own evidence as well. GZ will have no choice but to take the witness stand, BUT the prosecution doesn't have the burden of proof in a SYG hearing, so they can put forth little or no evidence as they choose. THEN anything GZ says on the stand at the SYG hearing is fodder for trial. IMO we shall learn at the October hearing if SYG will actually take place.... IMO the defense may be playing a charade in efforts to gather more leaves from the money tree. Has Mark O'Mara found a vocal expert who'll claim it was GZ screaming on the tape? The FBI declared they found their results inconclusive. IF the defense goes through with a SYG and loses, then in a jury trial they might go for GZ having a diminished capacity to understand the severity of his crime. Consider, what 'motive' was there for George to murder Trayvon other than the delusional fantasies of a warped/paranoid mind taking powerful mood and mind altering drugs prescribed for ADHD and anger issues?

GZ nevertheless seems to be sufficiently aware of the severity of his crime to lie about his actions - so how can he claim diminished capacity if he's sufficiently cognizant that he can cover up his wrongdoing? - he therefore seems clearly competent to stand trial.

GZ barely got sufficient credits to graduate high school. According to academic records GZ took Algebra I four times in high school – he withdrew once, flunked twice, and only managed to get a D- (65 score) in summer school so if he could not pass high school algebra how did he expect to do so in college?

BUT GZ didn't do poorly in ALL the subjects he attempted. Some of his grades were A and B. His grades see-saw wildly. So fwiw, IMO without a professional analysis of the types of subjects he studied and where he may or may not have had actual disadvantage cognitively, it cannot be reliably argued that GZ actually has a genuine learning disability. IMO any alleged 'handicapping condition' requires verification with exhaustive testing accompanied by serious evaluation by highly trained professional experts in the field and I question whether the person who prescribed GZ's ADD medication was even a specialist on the subject.


Clearly the record shows that GZ excelled in classes commonly referred to as 'elective classes' - meaning he wanted to do those classes from choice... YET failed to put sufficient effort toward 'making the grade' in other areas - without anyone apparently even being aware of his supposed disability - because it is not even mentioned on currently available academic records.


GZ did NOT obtain a degree... instead he lied by holding as well as attending a 'graduation' party for himself. In fact, by his presence there, GZ lied to everyone present and also received congratulations and graduating gifts/money from family and friends under false pretenses.

Former Chief Bill Lee stated that Zimmerman had spent four years as a criminal justice major, implying that was something to be proud of YET neglecting to mention GZ's grades or that it was a junior college which basically means that GZ needed fours years to get a two year degree.

Evidently GZ was too busy spending three to four hours a night chasing specifically black teens in Twin Lakes gated community, allegedly 'protecting' – although obviously in fact 'disrupting' the neighborhood... He flunked degree studies because he preferred the activity of chasing black teens, clearly prioritizing that over spending an evening on homework. IMO that's why GZ was credits short of a degree after he failed a required course last fall and was having to re-take during spring 2012 semester, in order to qualify for an Associate in Arts, General Studies . How angry/embarrassed was George that he didn't really graduate? After all, UCF would not now accept him so where was he to go? He must have been seething as well as in a dilemma what to tell family and friends.

GZ has been 'packaged and sold' as 'a great role model' who was previously an angelic alter boy and was now a young man who wanted to be a police officer - a future asset to law enforcement. BUT GZ's academic records tell a very different story, revealing just how phony that image is...

Remember Trayvon being tarnished with the image of being the problem child? Although IMO a person with GZ's academic record could well garner some sympathy NEVERTHELESS after Trayvon was slandered a drug addict/gang member/bully/thug/future school drop out it seems inappropriate. What irony! 'GZ the hero' versus 'Trayvon the thug with thugs for parents' is IMO a ridiculous idea based on fantasy - let's bear in mind who has the well-documented real history of thuggery/violence/poor academic performance.

A person accused of murder immediately has their life placed under the glare of microscopic media examination - so everything GZ has done in his life is revealed and is open to comment and we now know that he failed to finish many things he started and not only did his grades veer/see-saw drastically but also GZ lied by claiming he graduated

Oh, I am Sooooo behind! I was cooking right along, researching GZ saturn return, new and full moons, eclipses, etc when I stumbled upon Justicequest.net, the Mother Lode on information on GZ and TM. Absolutely astounding the information that is there. (a source you have used, jup asc?) So, as I am wading through that, I had another computer breakdown, but I am up and running again today.

I intend to go back, jupasc, and answer many of the excellent points you have raised, but for now just have to clear my desk and my brain of some data I've put together, if I may.

So I'd like to present info on GZ solar return (SR), Saturn Return ( SatRet) and upcoming eclipses and new/full moons and the chart for the docket sounding (DS), in the hopes others will find this useful and comment, also. Hopefully, I can upload supporting charts. I'm sure there's LOTS I'm leaving out-I leave that up to the rest of you to take note of!

For a chart for GZ, I have almost arbitrarily chosen a 5:13 am birthtime: just so I'd have a chart to work with and see how it played out. Also, I'm convinced he is not a libra moon. There are some connections with angles and progressions, so for now I'm still using it.

One interesting point: his angles: 20 virgo asc, 18 gem MC, coincide almost EXACTLY with the chart for the shooting; confirming him there at the scene.

Solar Return: 10.4.2012, 5:29 am, less than 24 hours after docket sounding. (DS).. This is interesting, as the original date in August could have almost been "another day in the life" but the date in Oct. connects it with his SR: so it is a picture/forecast of the year ahead. An important distinction, I believe.
Moon 26 taur conj. Algol conj. South Node (SN). How can this be good. moon conj. SN alone would be ominous. The moon makes many aspects: in grand cross with squar to venus, squar nep and oppos north node (NN) and mars. Quinc sat and merc in libra, conj. n. pluto. Quindicile (obsessive/compulsive) p. sun, merc in scorp. also quindecile p. jup in sag., quinc. sun in libra. SR sun is also semi-square mars scorp. SR merc, saturn are conj. GZ natal pluto, semi-sextile NN and mars.

DS: 10.3.2012 Sanford FL. 25 libra sc, merc 27 libra, sat 29 libra. This brings GZ SR merc, saturn and natal pluto to the asc. The DS moon 18 tau is in a yod to GZ prog. moon (?) 19 libra and natal SN 18 sag, nat IC if 5:13 am birthtime is close to correct.

Saturn return: exact 11.9.2012. 12.13: T. sat. conj. prog. sat and uranus sta. direct 4 aries in a yod: quinc. n. mars, quin n. sat. ALSO: new moon 21 sag: squarp. mars and natal merc (sac?) 21 virgo. A suprise? 2:18;2013: sat. sta retro 11 scorp. conj. prog. sun and propg. merc. saturn return ends 7.7.2013 with saturn sta. direct at 4 scorp, conj. n. saturn. End of trial?

Claudette - On the comprehensive resource 'justicequest' you mentioned - I found these two attached photos of George Zimmerman smiling broadly and recalled you commented many posts ago that GZ kept his expression masked... well the mask somehow slipped on the Sean Hannity Show! I also found one of GZ smiling in court.

claudette that is an accurate time for comparison BUT '50 minutes before the 2:30pm deadline' would = 1:40pm

1:50pm is only 40 minutes before the 2:30pm deadline. ....another ten minutes is a difference of 2.5 degrees added

There must be some online resource with GZ's recorded birth time if we can only find it!

Ooops! how embarrassing-my slip up on the time. I'm almost positive I saw a 1:50pm in the article-the 50 min is my error. I'll go back and see if I can find that story again.

The comments Leatherman makes are really interesting. He also had some ideas on the possibility that someone else was there with GZ that night. He made some good points on that.

It was interesting to do the research on eclipses, new and full moons, etc. Now we will just have to wait and see how they play out.

The photos of scratches on GZ in close-up surely look consistent to running into a tree in the dark, and I think in the renactment, GZ gestures toward the tree and says something about stumbling. How odd, though, the cuts on the back of his head-in one the rivulet of blood goes off at 45 degree angle and the other almost straight down. How could that happen? How could blood run in two different directions unless his head was turned at two different angles? It still really puzzles how those wounds were inflicted-surely not from a bashing on concrete.

What do you think about the Docket Sounding being so close to his saturn return?

Well, I am going to have to learn to pace myself; we are in for a long haul, here. I do think the saturn return is significant. If so, it may be next summer before there is any resolution, which, in the scheme of trials, is actually pretty quick.

I'm also curious about Mark O'Mara's chart-couldn't find a birthdate anywhere. His website says something to the effect of helping good people when they have trouble. Yeah, right. I guess he's making some kind of announcement Mon am.
