Just wanted to update. I hadn’t heard anything back from the interview and was pretty disappointed...but 1 month later and she has just phoned me and I’ve got the job! (Same job role but apparently a new position came up and I was shortlisted from earlier).

I just found out that a friend I’ve known since elementary school committed suicide this week. He was a kind and gentle soul. He was sensitive to the pain of this world. He’ll be missed.

I can’t stop crying. It hit me really hard. I wish he was still here. I wish I could have done something to help prevent this. 💔

Perhaps none of the above, but rather he came to like these same people, you both had once befriended together even though you've likely known them much longer.


I can see why it would be disconcerting. :unsure: Hmm. downright spooky?:ninja:

Befriended together? He never cared to talk to them when we were together.

Now suddenly he is trying his best to wedge his way into good graces.

Gemini has to be one of the most annoying signs to break up with.
It’s like watching a **** exorcism.

I have a neighbor (woman) who is much older and single with a grown daughter she sees now and then. She (the neighbor) is a Cancer Sun and can be a bit clingy. ...But she has been in love with this Gemini guy for ages and ages. Did you ever see on TV years ago, the "Water wiggle" (Whamo bought it from him) so it gave him a nice income. Like a big kid.

Meanwhile, he once told me in confidence he thinks the world of "Pam", but doesn't want to marry. He wanted to sail the 7 Seas, was taking sailing lessons in San Diego, and didn't want to hit dry land. For years he fished in Mexico warmer waters and went on and on about the "dorado"? fish he caught there.

Pam would help him fry them up.
Salminus brasiliensis (dourado, dorado, golden dorado, river tiger or jaw characin) is a large, predatory characiform freshwater fish found in central and east-central South America. Despite having Salminus in its name, the dorado is not related to any species of salmon, nor to the saltwater fish also called dorado.



Meanwhile, Pam retired from a very good job, and the Gemini moved far north to live freely half hermit, half at the local inns with friends he made in this little Montana town.
She was lonely for years but they "kept in touch" and she'd travel up there to see him a few times and to make sure there wasn't another woman (there wasn't)


He also has a pseudo- son! Why I say "pseudo" is because "SON" as he refers to this 25 yr old young man is one he helped raise with another woman many moons ago. He is rather devoted to him, takes him on vacations, even to Europe for his graduation from college.

They'd go fishing together, whatever.



Meanwhile, Pam gets older, gambles now at the Indian casinos nearby (a Cancer Sun gambling? ).....but she has lots of money and pensions, so no worries. She works part time to have something else to do, at the local Lowe's and loves it.



They manage, and have "been" (if thats what you call it) together now for about 20 years or as long as I've lived next door. Actually, he's back visiting for awhile now.



He'll leave the moment the Sun hits 90ish and the desert gets hot. He loathes the heat and will head for the mountains where he keeps a cabin/type place.



A freedom loving guy. And the Cancer Sun? She'll visit him on her off time especially in the summertime where they'll take in fishing or hunting in the fall. Elk * deer I think!


Bottom line is, he tends to keep relationships forever (like SON & Pam), as long as they don't infringe on his comings & goings too much. Yet he is a good handyman to come into town and do her yard work, her roof work, and the "honey-do" list she keeps for him. Actually, he's been sawing out there in the yard all weekend, making something again.

Last Thanksgiving, (he blew into town for the holidays only); and put up 7 new outdoor safety cameras for her and on her computer.

He'll work on her vehicles, and on and on. Just don't ask for marriage, he'll run for the hills !
