I have a strong desire to be known

I often fantasize of being famous somehow, but in a different light where yes, I'm recognized for my work, but I'd also have the ability to perform good deeds for others and my family, in need. Yes, I lack water signs in my chart, but I am a very emotional person (at least in my own way). I like to critique movies and praise good tv (plot and the creator's hard work). I love a great story that will inspire. I often escape to my day dreams and envision my characters (from my story) or in rare, but strong and recent scenarios that I'm known popularly, but for the right reasons. I love Marilyn Monroe, and adore her starlike quality, but overall, her, as a human who suffered from insecurities and depression, yet faced everyone with a silver smile.

I just wonder where that fits in my chart. I have an Aquarius midheaven and in most cases highlights jobs involving astronomy, astrology (which I'd love to do as well), or any sort of technology. I feel connected to the mysterious and creative world. Writing, entertainment, beauty related to art, history, theology, mythology, behind the scenes work of a production, travel, conspiracies, books and casting. To be apart and involved in something big.

Now that I got most of my dreams written, I worry about my practical side. I tend to be negative and think of myself as a failure. Blame depression. As a gemini, I jump from happy to sad to indifferent depending on the day. I am a perfectionist when it comes to my writing, sometimes having trouble finishing a project. My trouble is that I may be leading to nothing.

I guess I'm curious about what my chart has to say about my social standing and career. How can I connect to my aquarius midheaven? Does my chart indicate success, failure or potential? Yes, my questions are a little too general and unrealistic, but please be free to let me know what you find. Things that stand out to you the most.

Mars/Mercury-Pluto opposition on Asc/Des axis stands out at first, connecting through trines and sextiles to Saturn and Uranus as well, two talent triangles joined together covering half of your chart. An intense combination with those planets involved, through the trines and sextiles there is creative potential as well. Mercury in it's own sign, ruling both your Asc and Sun sign, also conjunct Mars and Venus, being part of this pattern might indicate your writing abilities, it is also well aspected by Uranus and Saturn, all this makes it very strong! I think you can be quite inspired at times!

A Yod between Sun, Pluto and Neptune may denote your interest in movies and TV, this is also another creative combination..

Be careful with Pluto so close to the Des about associating with the "right" people, Pluto in this position can attract intense encounters, there could be power struggles as well, with the Mars opp. on you Asc.

The Moon in Leo wants recognition, it connects with both Venus and Jupiter, the 2 benefics, I think you both seek and have the ability to give love.

Chiron trines both Mars/Mercury and Uranus and opposes Saturn, it is actually a kite formation, if we allow Chiron to be part of this pattern. So you seek healing as well, and maybe your relationship with your father was not easy, some integration of male energy is asked for here. Healing could come through creative expression/communication.

All in all a lot of highly creative patterns asking for expression through Mercury.

With Saturn, Uranus and Pluto connecting to your Mercury you may also be interested in exploring the deeper and perhaps darker side of human existence through your writing? Themes of love and healing could attract you for creative exploration, too.

I do. I fancy conspiracies, psychology, dark literature and anything taboo. I know it makes me happy to think about is how beautiful "different" is. I like to dwell on human sufferings and dig deep in the mind of a certain villain of mine. Yes, I think when my female character heals, it's a sign of female empowerment the way I structure her plot. It's invigorating.

As for my father, I do have some difficulties. He's a quiet Aries man with an Aquarius moon. We get along, but there's this lack of communication and absence of affection. He's there for me 100%, very attentive in his own manner--basically shows his love by giving me materialistic things that isn't really expensive, but I'm grateful. But I did not have that father presence in which I received advise. At least not emotionally. I think I picked up on some of those qualities. Though, I have a mother who is a Pisces sun with a Scorpio moon, domineering, involved and sensitive, so I have a balance.

Anyways, I'm researching more on what you sent me. I appreciate it a lot. I really do. Thank you. Feel free to comment anytime. :)

RANK OF FAME
thread with many examples anyone may compare with their own natal chart
to assess their potential for success

KEEP IN MIND HOWEVER
that there are
CELEBRITIES WITH NO PLANETS IN 10TH HOUSE
http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum...highlight=10th

There are many different methods calculating the Rank of Fame in someones chart. I will try here to discuss all the methods of which I'm aware.
I will start from a mix of medieval astrology method of seeing the Rank of Fame with that of Ptolemy, and than in some other post I will present some of the Hellenistic methods.

1. First we look at the Sun, if it is in 10th or 11th house. In lasser degree fame is indicated also by Sun being in 1st, 4th and 7th.
Sun in aspect to the MC brings fame.
Sun in succedent house and especially if it is aspecting the MC can brings fame.

This is the general indicator. It doesn't necessarily means that if you have Sun in 10th, you will be famous.
Sun is analogous for Fame, so there fore we first start examining the Sun.

The Sun in 5th cuts the fame in half (except when it is in 5th).
Sun in 5th indicates success in arts and entertainment fields.

Sun's aspects are very important. Afflicted Sun by some hard aspect with strong malefic may bring infamy.

Sun's dispositor and its relationship to the Sun is also very important. The dispositor will show the origin of the fame of the native.

The dispositor of MC and its Almuten as well the aspects to the MC, will show for what will the native gain fame, because MC represents the native's actions.

Ok, lest try this first rule of examining the rank of fame with some practical example.

Here's the chart of Brad Pit.
We can see that the Sun is angular on the AC.
This is the first indication of success.
The Sun in Sag has honor as triplicity ruler.
The ruler of Sun (its dispositor), also its Almuten is the Strong Jupiter in 4th - angular, in a sign in which is having honor of triplicity.
Divisor of the Sun (Term ruler) is Venus which makes trine to the MC with the Moon - the native will be noticed by Women.

To add:
Sun is ruler of the Lot of Fame in 28Leo.
Moon (aspecting trine to MC with Venus) is ruler of the Lot of Success in Cancer.
The Sun is not impeded by bad aspect of Malefic.
It is in Trine relationship with Jupiter and in mutual reception (Sun by exaltation in Aries).
Sun is in aspect to MC. The thing that the aspect is square does not impede the rank of fame.

As we can see, the chart of Brad Pit is having many testimonies of this first rule of the Rank of Fame.
We will examine the other methods in my next post.
