Hi
If a planet is conjunct Saturn in saturns sign, but separating from it,will the person still be dominated by saturns influence all his life or eventually free himself? In your experience
If a planet separates from a conjunction from Saturn in its dignity, in the sign Saturn rules, and the other planet is in Saturn's sign as well, then Saturn will look favorably on the other planet. So that is good to just file away.
But also know that the planets move in the heavens continually. And as they unfold in this way after the time of your birth, so you life unfolds. If you had, say, Moon separating from a conjunction with Saturn, there will always be a Saturn influence, and also, Moon will grow and take shape as it transits or progresses away from Saturn and relates to other planets over time.
So you are never permanently influenced or free of influence. It is always dynamic; always changing. Like a dance.
Thanks
In my case its mercury the Asc ruler in 9th in aquarius.
Its applying to jupiter but still at 9 degrees distance
Saturn could tend to relate favorably to Merc in AQ, depending upon
1. the degree and minute that Merc is
and
2. whether Sun is above or below the horizon.
Based on JA's offering of your chart, Saturn has modest resonance with Merc, receiving Merc by term. But your Merc receives Saturn well, so there is not as much adversity between Merc and Saturn natally as you might have thought.
Thanks. Its odd I lack the patience of Saturn
