Biden was on target, and that target was Trump himself, based on his administration's policies of the.last 3 3/4 years. He refused to target Trump's family.

In contrast, Trump couldn't shoot straight: He took aim at two people who weren't even there, Biden's son and the President for whom Biden was Vice President, leaving Biden unscathed.

Meanwhile, on Morning Joe:

Heilemann said the president failed to land many of his attacks simply because they were too far into the weeds for most viewers to understand.
“They brought their fact witness, Tony Bobulinsky or ‘Baba Booey’ or whoever, that guy, refused to take questions at the press conference, and it’s not that there were no facts. As it turns out after the Wall Street Journal debunked the story, but Donald Trump’s lack of preparation, guys, I think, came through. Those Hunter Biden hits are complicated, and Trump was not well versed in them, so it sounded to me like gobbledygook. It was just gibberish coming out of his mouth. The big guy, you’re the big guy, he said to Biden, you didn’t understand that unless you’re in the Fox News bubble already, you didn’t understand a lot of the things that Trump was trying to say.”

The debate chart disappeared from the thread that Elena & I were on yesterday - as did the chart for Kristen Welker and the 2 nominees.

But bottom line is, Elena did call it correctly! She said that the Debate looked to her (via the aspects she pointed to), that it would leave people "confused"....

And indeed, if John Heilemann is correct, then trump's "gobblygook" only left confusion as to the "Big Guy" :bandit:

You mean, sleeping in his basement bunker for the past 6 months proves that he's physically able to function?:sad::crying:

He goofs up every time he speaks for more than one minute. It's clear that he is suffering from dementia. That's why he won't take a cognitive test which President Trump took months ago. He insulted the black reporter who asked him if he was going to take the test & asked if he was a cocaine addict???

Biden is a washed-up, corrupt politician. A new name from the great one himself, Sebastian Gorka.....'

SLEEPY, CREEPY, CORRUPT, BEIJING BIDEN'.

Biden pops out for a debate 2x & then back down to the bunker again, he took 5 days off to study for the 3rd debate but it didn't help. Compared to President Trump, Biden looked frail & weak, not able to explain why he hasn't done anything for 47 years for the American people. He lied & lied & got caught & nobody believes his son Hunter Biden isn't a criminal but the fake news media won't talk about it. The F.B.I. have the laptop from hell as Trump calls it!

Joe Biden can retire in his basement bunker permanently after Nov 3rd.:whistling:

Contrary to the wishful hopes of Trump's supporters, Joe Biden showed no signs of being physically or mentally unfit for the office of President.

It was a good debate because it was FAIR...the first time the fake news media treated Trump & Biden equally. Normally, they are attacking Trump & hitting him with ridiculous questions while they ask Biden soft questions such as what flavour of ice-cream he is eating. Or they give the answers to Biden beforehand like they did at his Town Hall. He was able to study them & come up with a 'good answer' by his team but he rambled on like a dementia patient & probably the most boring Town Hall meeting ever. Meanwhile, the deranged Savannah Guthrie was screaming & attacking POTUS & acting like she was n a boxing ring. A complete nutcase!

President Trump clearly outplayed, outwitted & outlasted the slow Biden & even managed to ask a couple of questions about his grifter & corrupt family.
The fake news media not only censored this huge Hunter Biden scandal but avoid talking about it but good that Trump was able to bring it up.:surprised::lol:

"Biden looked frail & weak, not able to explain why he hasn't done anything for 47 years for the American people."

This is an enormous disadvantage, that he can't get over however he turns things.

I still don't understand how he became the favoured candidate from the lineup of over 20 candidates at the original debates. He didn't even win in the primaries.

What did Trump do for the American people prior to becoming President? Do you think his TV show contributed to their well-being? Or, his golf courses, or his line of expensive clothes and luggage made in China?

He was pro-choice, said he thought illegal drugs should be decriminalized, never served in the military, wasn't especially religious.

Then, he "reinvented" himself in such a way as to get elected, and went on a power-trip, which is impressive to some, and anathema to others.

"What did Trump do for the American people prior to becoming President?"

What does this have to do with the price of rice in China, as they say.
He was a private businessman. He constructed, gave work to thousands. Led a private life. The fact that he is not a politician is a positive, not a negative.

Biden was elected to do a job on behalf of the people.
And didn't do a very good job.

Trump stiffed his contractors, discriminated against minorities in his housing projects, and never did a lick of honest labor in his life. He was born rich and tries to act like a self-made man. His factories were in China, not in the U.S. He paid low wages, and used illegal Polish workers so he could pay even less. He lost his credit rating in the U.S. and borrowed money from Germany and Russia.

If Biden did such a poor job for those who elected him, then why was he constantly re-elected? I suspect Biden will be a much better President than is expected of him.
