sorry to post it here but I keep confusing myself by the concept of reception / dignity. I am wondering if someone can help me here.
forgive me, I am using a chart I posted before as example
The querent's question is : Is he sexually attracted to me and will we have sex ".
Querent significator:
Jupiter: scorpio 13
Moon: Aries 19
Venus: Leo 26
Quesited significator:
Mercury: Leo 10
Sun: Cancer 14
PLease let me know if I totally overthinking or being total non sense.
in terms of aspect, Mercury and Jupiter will apply square, therefore the judgement lean towards YES.
Querent also would like to know a bit on the emotional side/ how the quesited view her, which I believe Reception should be used. So I Was looking into following.
-- L1 Jupiter / L7 Mercury :
o Jupiter in Leo 10. Dignity is Face :meaning Jupiter person has a position in Mercury person
o Mercury in Scorpio 13. no dignity? I can’t find dignity for Mercury in Scorpio 13
o does it mean Jupiter person is better received by Mercury person.
-- Sun in Aries 19 hence is exalted by moon
o moon is used is because it Is the co-significator for querent
o when a significator (a) is exalted by the other (b), (b) idolize (a, the significator being exalted)
o Moon in cancer is also in rulership
o So compared the 2 dignity, seem it is an equal / mutual reception
--Venus (querent) and Sun (quesited)
o Venus in cancer 14. Dignity is Face. Venus is welcomed by sun?
o Sun in Leo 26.. In rulership. Sun has good dignity in venus’ mind. Again Venus idolize Sun?
o Seems like this mean Sun has 'upper hand'?
