I was very sick in March and they told me it was just the flu but it’s 9 months later and I’m still struggling with complications. Because they tested me for the flu first and it was positive, they didn’t test me for covid because they thought that it would be too unlikely for me to have both. My gut feels is that I had covid and I’m very frustrated that I didn’t get tested. It’s been so far along now and my antibodies are negative because my doctor FINALLY just now agreed to test me for them even though they said they would most likely be gone anyway. I am still struggling with GI and respiratory issues with not many answers other than this being post-viral. All medical tests come back negative unless something has been missed.
