Please Look. Will I ever see him again?

I was seeing a guy off an on since the summer. We met during mercury retrograde. We haven't spoken in a month. I miss him, but feel like he has moved on. He lives very far away and this is the main reason that we are not together. I posed the question, "Will I ever see him again?"

I am represented by mercury which is the ruler of house 1, which is retrograde. I would think he is Jupiter on house 7. There are no aspects to mercury from jupiter. So I am thinking no. I am wondering about the Juno and Pluto in house 7. Also, what is going on with mars in house 1 opposition pluto?

Help folks, let me know what you think

i thought he was represented by house 5 because it was a romantic fling, house 7 is not always relationships, its a partnership. friends, long term relationships are ruled by house 7, house 5 is where it starts and then if everything works out well, then he becomes a house 7 question....from the nature of your question, i think he belongs in the 5th house i like to call "the house of recreational sex"

OK well, this is my interpretation, and the others are better, but i'm going to try and practice a little bit- His house 5 is Virgo, so both of you are represented by Merc- indicated by the Rx, shows when the two of you met.

Merc is in house 9 shows the long distance between you two

Good news is that moon is in Taurus, ruled by Venus and applying a trine to Venus indicating perhaps another shot at romance, or at least maybe a sexual encounter as Venus is in the 8th house of sex, sitting there with Jupiter

Edit: when Mercury is Rx and rules the querent, it affects the outcome because it means that the querent will change their mind regarding the matter when Merc goes direct- this is because YOU and HE are both signified by Merc and its Rx. wouldn't it be funny if he decides he wants a parntership with you- thus the moon in Taurus and by the time it comes around, he'll be "old news" when merc goes direct? so typical. This is a quote from Barbara Watters, I looked up the Merc Rx for the querent- "ideas which seem brilliant while Mercury is Rx show SERIOUS FLAWS when it turns direct"

Mars is also in your first house and Venus is separating Exact from mars, an inconjunct...wondering if an indication of the past relation?

the 4th house rules the end of the matter, saturn is there, a malefic, but the POF is also there in HIS sign, Virgo, so i think you can get him, but being that mars is a co-significator w/the pluto opposition i think there are some problems?

I think you will see him again, the other postive thing is that his 7th house has the moon in taurus, ruled by VE, so maybe he does see you as a potential partner? Mercury IS applying a quincunx to the POF in house 4. in the horary book i was reading by ivy jacobson, it says the Quincunx shows the querent will support the other- you are in medical school, right?

oh, you don't use the asteroids in horary. archergirl gave me some good advice told me to use the first 7 planets and only look at the houses involved, nothing else otherwise you complicate things- at least to start off with, then you can look at the other stuff when you get good

Interesting. Does the fact that cancer on house 2 and 3 mean anything? Anyways, thanks for taking a crack at this. Makes me feel better. I have had more time for astrology because I am very near graduation and don't have courses anymore, just patient-only contact. This is my non-medical hobby!!! BTW, thanks for the list of horary books. There is a free version of William Lily's Christian Astrology (all 3 volumes). If you wikipedia William Lily, there is a link that lets you download all three on a word doc.

thank you SOOOOOO much about the lilly link, those books are expensive!

Archergirl recommended to me the John Frawley book, and I got it on Amazon.com for $30 today w/$3.99 shipping. I don't think its too bad, there were also copies on abebooks.com. i would recommend getting it b/c A.G. said she uses that one all the time, Starlink told me she is VERY good, and she IS AMAZING! she'll pick up on things other people miss.

I posted an horary chart earlier about my job, the one you looked at i think? i posted 2. but in the first one she picked up how i worked in a casino, how i was in debt, and how i literally want to transfer and become a cocktail waitress! it was just specific. Actually, maybe it was lilly or star who asked if i worked in entertainment where gamblers frequent... i am from Las Vegas, but the 5th house rules wagers and i was asking about my company.

Ok so for cancer on house 2 and 3- i wouldn't really look at those, personally b/c i don't feel like the 2nd and 3rd houses have anything to do with the question.

Hi- hope nobody minds me saying a couple of things here-
usually for a question like this the house 7 cusp would be used to signify the other person because in a way,at the moment there is no real relationship between the 2 people-The fifth is used much more in regard to horary questions involving *children*.
So the querent is mercury and the quesited is jupiter.
Your ruler is in his third house and his ruler is in his second, your eighth...The eighth house is a malefic house in astrology...Especially so here as Saturn is ruler of the eighth here. His ruler, jupiter is in fall in cap and disadvantaged by being in the eighth as well...probably his mind is on money matters.
Your ruler is also retrograde.
The moon is in the twelfth house -not a good place in a horary question..The moon applies to SQUARE the sun- not good and even though the moon is exalted in Taurus it loses advantage by house placement and negative aspect to the sun.
Mars is in your first but about to oppose pluto. The trine of sun to mars occurs in his fourth house of endings.
Sorry, but I think you most likely won't see him for some time...and even if you do the outcome is more likely to be a final ending than a new beginning.

Joannski, you said:
<Good news is that moon is in Taurus, ruled by Venus and applying a trine to Venus indicating perhaps another shot at romance, or at least maybe a sexual encounter as Venus is in the 8th house of sex, sitting there with Jupiter>

yes good(ish) news the moons in Taurus but coming to the end of its time there-in h12-I think the querent is secretly wishing for a renewal of the *affair* but venus is not his or the querent's significator here...venus is ruler of *his* fifth, but nothing is in that house and your 11th-hopes and wishes.
Venus also rules the twelfth here...the querents secret feelings...Venus is not favourable in Saturn's sign and house 5 is the house of sex-not house 8.
his fifth is largely occupied by aries-thus mars and mars though strong by domicile will soon move into cancer, its fall where it has less power to act.

Cheers , lillyjgc

I am deeply flattered but I assure you that I am still learning and don't always get it right!

I would agree with lillyjgc on this. There is no aspect between Mercury and Jupiter, or the Moon, Mercury, and Jupiter. In the simplest of terms, no aspects, no relationship; there is not even any beneficial reception to speak of.

Honestly, this is a bad time in the skies to be asking horary questions; hardly anything is in good shape right now. Everything is detrimented, in fall, or retrograde.:p

Cheers,
AG:)
