Why Tsunami happened in Indonesia? Last night

Friend of mine informing me tsunami happened last night because the eruption of mount Krakatau. Any spesific explanation from astrology about this?

You are a beginner relative to astrology
so you probably would not be aware of MUNDANE ASTROLOGY :smile:

We use Mundane Astrology to analyse this kind of event
which is not suitable for usual Horary

- although of course our Horary board

No retrograde planet, but very suspicious of moon conditions nearly exact opposition from saturn, both ruled by native sign. The sun square mars going through descendant. Any explanation?

Horary astrology and mundane astrology are entirely different things. Horary astrology requires a chart cast for the date, time, and place that you asked the question. Unless you yourself are in Surabaya, Indonesia, and you cast this chart at precisely 7:01 pm local time on Sunday, December 23rd, 2018, this is not a horary chart.

Furthermore, horary astrology cannot be used to explain world events, unless it's a world event specifically about the person asking the question, and the question is about a personal stake in the matter that no one else has. For example, if you were running for elected office, you could cast a horary asking if you would win. That would be about you personally. While other people might be affected by the outcome of the election, you winning or losing would be a personal matter to you, and would not affect anyone else in that particular way. If, on the other hand, you were just an average citizen of a country having a major election, a horary chart cast by you to ask who would win would not be valid, because you would not have a personal stake in the matter, any more than millions of other people do.

Since you do not have a personal stake in this event--even if you were there, so were many others--this is not a horary question you can legitimately ask. And even if you were there, knowing what caused it isn't going to change anything. So, if anything, this is a mundane astrology question. Mundane astrology is the branch of astrology that deals with world events.

Hmm interesting Jupy, Sun square Mars is very identical troubles (the reason my correct rectification). That's make a sense for the moon opposite sun as my horary question happen approximately 10 hours later.

I don't know why that account on the skyscript forum using outer planets, maybe there could be an impact?

I, myself is in Surabaya, East Java and the tsunami happen in Banten, West Java. I'm not sure but it could be 30+ minutes difference in local time. And I'm asking this horary chart approximately 10 hour later, so I think we could be tracking at least the aspects from the sky.

Sampean orang Indonesia juga ta?

I barely know that saturn represents the mountains, what I know is moon represents the water, according to some veterans in this AW community.

Saya berbicara sedikit bahasa Indonesia .

Saya pindah antara Kupang , Jakarta dan Bogor , istri saya dari Bogor

If we check more, we will find the following:
The Libra denote the peaks of the mountains
Gemini denote the mountains
Pluto denotes volcanoes
Gemini in House XII
Libra in the fourth
The sun and Saturn are going to Pluto.
I see there is a potential danger.
I hope I am wrong.

I don't usually read charts like these but I'll give it a go.

I find it interesting how Moon opposes Saturn, Saturn representing the Earth in Capricorn (Volcano). Moon the water in Cancer (Ocean), opposition is the eruption, water and earth coming together. There is also Sun in Capricorn, Moon opposed it... full moon, perhaps the trigger!

Your country is Venus, 4th house ruler, in detriment. It is in middle of Scorpio and it seems going through a difficult time, Venus has another 15 degrees to go through this, so I expect things like this may happen again in future. the 2004 tsunami happened 14 years ago, and Venus in 15th degree of the sign... so the 2004 tsunami happened as Venus recently entered Scorpio if we take each degree to represent a year.
