can the actors union say that the armorer is at fault
when
neither the assistant director nor the armorer
could have stopped Baldwin from loading his own gun
and shooting whomever he pleased.


Who would hire themselves out as a scapegoat
for when Baldwin screws up and kills somebody ?
You can't buy an armorer to take the fall for Baldwin's killing.


The union cannot by way of their job descriptions
transfer the responsibility
for a crime committed by one
and
place it onto the shoulders
of another who didn't.
That's not real life.

Baldwin is 100% at fault because he didn't check his gun for safety.
He pulled the trigger and killed her
when all he had to do was unload the gun to be absolutely safe.

His union cannot invent their own laws
that conflict with local, state, federal and common laws
concerning internationally understood gun etiquette
that says that anybody possessing a gun
automatically accepts responsibility for it's use
and whatever happens with it while it's in their care
and under their control.
He didn't clear his gun for safety.

Therefore, he is accountable for Halyna's death
