Appearance?

Hello :D

I understand that the sun sign and particularly the AC are the biggest indicators of physical appearance, but are there any other planets or something else that also exemplify certain physical traits?

I would love to hear interpretations of my chart in regard to what it suggests I may look like :)

is that your picture?
I looked at it before I saw your chart and I knew you were fire ascendant, Its easy to spot them, as I am fire rising.
The ruler is on air so you may have aquarius traits as well as virgo traits as the sun is in the 6th.

Your 6th house is very charged, So you may be somewhat like a Virgo. Remember the house where the sun, moon, and ruler of the ascendant is, they will get traits of the natural sign of such house. (in personality)

To look at the potential physical traits of a person look at:
1. the ascendant
2. ruler of the ascendant (sign and house)
3. sun (sign and house)
4. moon (sign and house) This is the last to define physical traits but sometimes the moon makes a strong influence over the physical when we start growing up. Our physical is modified a lot by our feelings.

You are defined as Leo, Aquarius, and Virgo.
What a unique combo!

Thanks thats very informative! I did not know about the house influencing also. I shall go research what Leo, Aquarius and Virgo phsyical traits are too although I have a basic idea.

'Unique' is the word everyone uses to describe me, above any other :L It's funny to see that word popping up, even among astrological denotations of my physical appearance :)

I'm not really clear as to why you are asking such a question? Is it that you don't have a clear TOB?

Just briefly, according to member Kannon [Cardinal signs are more rounded. Fixed signs are rectangular or blocky. Mutable signs are longish or narrow]

Hi :)

I asked because I wondered if I had missed something in my research, as there is always some other thing connecting to this thingamajig that does so-and-so ... I wondered if there were more things that indicated appearance, I see I'm probably looking too far in to it, I was just hoping to be pointed in the right direction ^.^

The logical framework linking the three signs of the same element is:

The first decanate of Aries is the Aries decanate, which shares some appearance characteristics with the Aries decanate of Leo and the Aries decanate of Sagittarius.

Similarly, the Leo decanate of Aries shares its looks with the Leo decanate of Leo and the Leo decanate of Sagittarius.

The Sagittarius decanate of Sagittarius shares its appearance with the Sagittarius decanate of Aries and the Sagittarius decanate of Leo.

This connection is so strong that the Aries decanate of Aries, for example, has more in common with the Aries decanate of Sag than with the Leo decanate of Aries.

The 30 degrees of each zodiac house can be divided into three groups of ten degrees each. These divisions are termed Decanates. The first ten degrees are the First Decanate, the second ten degrees the second Decanate and the third ten degrees are the Third Decanate.

The first decanate of any sign corresponds to to the sign being studied so that the first deanate of Aries will relate to Aries. I would use whole signs and put it in the 7th. There is no way to get empirical evidence or logical proof of what house system to use, so I just make things easy on myself.

Hmm I'm still such a noob :L Some of these things go straight over my head.

Should I look into the 7th house also? :S

I think maybe the moon.I am a Libra with Pisces Rising.And the two really do show but there's one thing that is missing thats the Moons influence.It shows up mostly in my eyes.Maybe because the eyes are the window to your soul or something.I have a Scorpio Moon and sometimes it can give me a very intense look..but then again The Libra and Pisces softens it but it defintely always there when i make eye contact.I went to this webstite i think it's Astro Faces and i found people with Libra Sun,Scorpio Moon,and Pisces Rising to look similar to me.If i took away the Scorpio Moon they kind of remind me of myself but they'd be missing that gaze that i'd usually have.

Yes this is brilliant - I googled Astroface and it came up :D It's WEIRD, the Aquarius sun + moon with Leo AC all looked like me generally - brown hair, white skin, eyes that look blackish blue :O The face shape - we all look like variations of the same mold.

Weird and wonderful!

Yes. And never mind my quote, there is way to get proof, just not yet.

I don't think Moon does much for my appearance, because my Moon sign is Cancer and Cancers are supposed to let everything emotional show but once I was playing BS against someone who seemed to be a poker fanatic and he kept complaining that I had no tell. I think that might be Pluto partile conj. (actually semisquare, but all hard aspects to midpoints are called conjunctions) Sun/Moon midpoint. Would Sun/Moon midpoint affect appearance?

I also have no one with my Sun Moon Asc combination on Astrofaces :p which is all right because I have a ton of aspects to those points that'll mess up the signs anyways

You have Venus conjunct DC, a great thing to have I suppose.
Venus feels good there and you look lovely to others or you want to look good for people.

DC traits are bits and pieces of the natives that are seen in others that draw the native to them. For example: The native with a LEO ac will present the world with the mask of "leo" for all to see, and many of her experiences will be "fire sign" related, as the AC filters all energy first and then distributes it to the rest of the chart. This chart ruler related energy is helping the native seem more like that character they are portraying (the AC)

The DC are the parts of us we tuck away and hide, in order to protect ourselves early in life, we are not ready to use these traits till later in life once we develop ourselves (AC and 1st house of self). SO, when we see someone with qualities that reflect the DC (in this case would be Aquarius) being another persons NN in aquarius, sun or moon in aquarius, or any other traits that are aquarian, we will naturally gravitate towards that person because they reflect who we truly are inside, and they seem...familiar.

The ruler of the ascendant i.e. chart ruler is very significant. Planets in the 1st house overrule everything else. I think also if you have planets in the 4th house they can indicate what you inherit from parents etc...
The sun sign is not necessarily so important as far as looks go if not connected to the ascendant but with personality yes....

Descendant traits are those of our partner, not us...what we project onto them and who we attract in partnerships.....Not our personal looks or traits. no...
