John McCain is increasingly mad as hell about President Trump. And on Friday, he went after Trump — hard.
During a speech at the Munich Security Conference in Germany, the Republican senator from Arizona delivered a pointed and striking point-by-point takedown of Trump's worldview and brand of nationalism. McCain didn't mention Trump's name once, but he didn't have to.
And even considering the two men's up-and-down history and the terrible things Trump has said about McCain, it was a striking display from a senior leader of a party when it comes to a president of the same party.
In his speech, McCain suggested the Western world is uniquely imperiled this year — even more so than when Barack Obama was president — and proceeded to question whether it will even survive.

The resolution passed on December 23, 2016, when 14 out of the 15 voting members of the Council voted in favor of the resolution

As the US prepared to abstain from UN security council resolution 2334 in December 2016, the transition team of US President Donald Trump, who was just over a month from taking office, including then planned national security advisor Michael Flynn, worked to block the vote, Foreign Policy reported Friday.
Foreign Policy stated that on the day of the UNSC vote the Trump’s transition team requested the contact info of ambassadors and foreign ministers of countries that are members of the Security Council.
A former State Department official said that the request was ultimately denied, citing a fear that the transition team would harm diplomatic aspirations.
One US official spoke to Foreign Policy stating that Nikki Haley, who Trump had already chosen to serve as the US ambassador to the UN, even attempted to reach Samantha Power. Power, who was at the time US ambassador to the UN, did note take Haley’s call.
Michael Flynn also called multiple country’s ambassadors to the UNSC, in an attempt to persuade them.
The resolution passed on December 23, 2016, when 14 out of the 15 voting members of the Council voted in favor of the resolution, none voted against it, and the United States chose to abstain instead of casting its veto on the initiative.
At the time of the vote Trump came out squarely against it, saying the resolution “should be vetoed.”

It is well worth listening to the full speech of Rabbi Jacobowitz at the Mass Jewish Protest in front of the White House, especially for those who fail to differentiate between the evil, extremist Zionists who are more secular than Jewish and the great majority of Jews, especially the religious Jews.
As the Rabbi points out, world Jewry does not support Israel and it’s actions that violate the cornerstones of Judaism, he condemns the IDF as an ‘immoral army’ and the actions of Israel towards it’s own citizens and neighbours.​

Donald Trump’s presidency is intended to be the final stage of the transformation of the US from a democratic nation into a totalitarian police state. In short, Trump is going to turn the US into a copy of Israel.

Beit Jala (Palestinian Territories) (AFP) - Hundreds of bereaved Palestinian and Israeli women marched through the West Bank on Friday against the Israeli occupation, in an International Women's Day event.
Around 200 women marched to two military bases, with some carrying banners reading "End the occupation" or "Our tears are one colour".
The Parents Circle Families Forum brings together families of those killed in the decades-long Israeli-Palestinian conflict and includes more than 600 families.
Robi Damelin, an Israeli woman whose son was killed near Ramallah in 2002, lit a candle in honour of the many victims of the conflict.
"My son was a reserve Israeli army officer, and before he was summoned he was doing a master's degree at Tel Aviv University," she said.
He was killed in the West Bank in 2002 by a Palestinian sniper in a famous incident in which 10 Israelis were killed.
"I wrote several letters to my son's killer saying I wanted to meet him. He sent me one which said he was willing to meet me, but the authorities have prevented it," she told AFP, calling on the Israeli government to make peace.
Some Israeli settlers in the area insulted the women from their cars, telling them to go to Syria.
Palestinian Bushra Awad, 45, lost her 17-year-old son Mahmoud in 2008.
"I joined the forum because I am trying not to lose any another son," she said.
Suha abu Khdeir, whose son Mohammed was burned alive by Jewish settlers in July 2014, also addressed the women.
"I can't sleep at night -- every day it's me who's burning because of what happened to my son," she said.
The women also demolished a wall symbolising the barrier that snakes through the occupied West Bank.

It’s a business where, like Trump’s, family and loyalty loom large. Management at Kushner Cos. has been mercurial, its feuds bruising and its political influence considerable. Recent joint ventures and investments expanded by Jared could lead to opportunities for unseen influence. Given the company’s history, ethics lawyers say, such opportunities merit close watching.
“It can’t hurt to be doing business with Jared Kushner’s family,” said Larry Noble, general counsel for the Campaign Legal Center, a nonpartisan organization focused on election laws. “It’s a road to the administration. At the very least they’re going to have an inside track.”
In theory, both Kushner and Trump have dealt with the risk of conflicts of interest. Trump is turning over control of his business to his sons. Kushner has gone further, selling his share in many family assets. His lawyer, Blake Roberts, noted that the sale follows federal law and has been approved by the Office of Government Ethics.



Still, the purchasers are his brother and mother, and some ethicists say the potential for conflict remains; Kushner seems likely to know where the money is invested. His father, convicted in 2005 of witness tampering, illegal campaign contributions and tax evasion, remains central to the company.

Also of Jared’s invention: an expanded credit arm announced after the election that will invest $1 billion into the debt structures of other people’s deals over the next five years. The fund has few regulatory or public disclosure obligations.
Charles completed his two-year prison sentence in 2006 for making illegal campaign contributions and hiring a prostitute to entrap his brother-in-law. Company officials say that while it has a president, Laurent Morali, Charles has been helping shape the company’s redevelopment plans, arranging deals and negotiating with officials.

Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner, who also holds the titles of "senior advisor to the president" and "White House innovations director," is in Iraq right now with the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff-and that's weird. Really weird. A senior administration official reportedly said that Kushner was there because he wanted to show support for the Iraqi government and see the situation on the ground for himself. But why? The 36-year-old Kushner has no diplomatic, military, or political experience. Prior to Donald Trump's election, Kushner's work was entirely in real estate.

Nearly three months into the Donald Trump presidency, nearly half the top jobs in the State Department remained vacant. The administration hasn't nominated a deputy secretary to serve under Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, nor has it nominated a deputy secretary for the departments of Education, Housing and Urban Development, Labor and the Interior. Of 553 key positions requiring senate confirmation, 486 of them do not yet have a nominee, according to the Partnership for Public Service, which tracks political appointees.
While key jobs go unfilled, Jared Kushner's list of responsibilities continues to grow.

Since then, Kushner's foreign policy role has grown, as has the sphere of his influence. In February, the Washington Post called him "almost a shadow secretary of state," after reporting about back-channel diplomacy Kushner performed with Mexican officials. Kushner served a similar role in arranging a meeting between Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
It also seemed that Trump has added military responsibilities to Kushner's foreign policy portfolio. Kushner traveled this week to Iraq with Gen. Joseph Dunford, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and met with the Iraqi prime minister to discuss the elimination of ISIS and the training and arming of the Iraqi forces
