Looks like the web page using passiflora's link is down.

I googled his obit, and this was able to be opened today:

https://www.faainc.org.au/ed-tamplin-in-memoriam/

But I don't think his spouse, is keeping the web site opened he ran, which is upsetting for some of his devoted followers who told me this. Perhaps its now re-opened, as this was about 10-14 days ago.

I think Noel Tyl died not long before or thereafter...Can't keep up with them all.
Noel Tyl practiced his art not too far away from where I am:

Operanostlgia.be reports the death of Noel Van Tyl, an American bass-baritone who was a striking Hans Sachs in Vienna and Düsseldorf before giving it all up for a life as a consultant astrologer.
One star to another, as it were.
He died on his 83rd birthday but it looks as if his web site carries on:

Peter Burns seems to be continuing his work.

One strange thing: the Australian astrological society has the initials SARS!

I don't think its scary necessarily, but probably more about karmic events that we may not even be consciously aware of yet to occur.

BTW: For those familiar with Mundane astrologer Ed Tamplin's work in Australia, he just passed over on October 7th 2019 when Tr Saturn - Pluto opposed his Uranus. Often Uranus augers a separating force, Saturn meanwhile was tr. his natal 8th house Moon

His work will be missed:

Look how right you were LEOMOON!!

Karmic events indeed

I admired his Mundane work which I regret to have discovered late. You are right, it looks like the site is down now. Some of his weekly updates were snagged by the Wayback machine. Here is one from June. https://web.archive.org/web/20190902192902/http://edtamplin.com/weekly horoscopes

I sent this on to Australia, an astrologer there, that loved his work and told me about the closed blog. She's thrilled! Thanks so much, I didn't know about a "Wayback machine" of archived work. Thanks again!
My husband (Libra Sun, Scorpio Rising & Cancer Moon), has this incredible photographic memory, even recalling riding in his stroller in a photo in the late 1940s, the colors, what his mother wore, etc AMAZING memory - and he told me the "Wayback Machine" was on a Rocky & Bullwinkle kids cartoon "going back in time" in the 1960s.

Very interesting, but I never heard of it, yet like he says, he mostly remembers nonsense.

The WABAC Machine or Wayback Machine is a fictional time machine from the segment "Peabody's Improbable History", a recurring feature of the 1960s cartoon series The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show. The WABAC Machine is a plot device used to transport the characters Mr. Peabody and Sherman back in time to visit important events in human history.

This seems like Neptune's work with the Saturn-Pluto conjunction of Karma and the masses operating in the background

WHO Director caused a global coronavirus panic over a basic MATH ERROR that led to the greatest economic panic in world history.

The Fed trying to stop the bleeding. This doesn't include the trillions in liquidity they provided the overnight lending markets the past few months. Markets were already heading toward a crisis before the shock from the virus panic.

The real problem, the threat of low/negative interest rates are forcing the financial world to recklessly take on greater risk. Traditional banks also have FinTech companies trying to snag some of their business. Expect bank failures if they don't find a better business model.

What would be a better model?

Banks will fail this year and the stock markets will crash worldwide. They are already losing millions of pounds for the mast few years. No one uses the banks like they used to and if businesses fail, which they will due to what’s going on in the world right now, the markets will fail.

Then we will have to pick up the pieces and start again. What Happens then is each country may be on a level playing field. Good old Satan. Sorry Saturn 🪐

Interesting configuration in 3 days--Saturn ingress into Aquarius, Mars/Jupiter/Pluto conjunction, and Moon conjunct Neptune.

Sun in Aries in 5 hours.

Saturn likes to bring forth what is not right, make one accept responsibility for it, fix it and restore order. Saturn stands strong in its own sign of Capricorn - which is an earth sign and as we can see, literally the complete earth has been shaken up and it has to do with the earth theme.

With Pluto in the mix, there is a much deeper transformation that literally uproots the entire system and brings forth often the darkness and ugliness (the them of brutality - in this case towards animals). The effect is intense and far-reaching literally like an earthquake, but on a much massive scale than we know an earth quake to be.

Literally, the world has been turned upside down. Saturn also makes one aware of the limits on can go to and ones boundaries. It also isolates often through penalizing one - or so it feels at least. It is like Saturn is using the massive power of Pluto to transform things / the world in this case to restore new order and a new way of moving forward.

Saturn often also humbles one and I think this is something that is really going to come out of this. Pluto entered Cap in 2008 and ever since, if you notice, this entire concept of veganism/vegetarianism has really picked up steam, as well as climate awareness. I think we are literally looking at Earth's rebirth in a way.

It is also clear how Capricorn - the sign of the govt. and corporations - has also thrust a big responsibility on them and the governments are forced to look at issues they have otherwise ignored - like healthcare, looking after the people. Corporations will face losses and govt. too will be forced to share its wealth to sustain the local public. It will be an overhaul (pluto) and there will be a new structure (Saturn) to things

I would know more a about banking than bank execs if I had the answer.

For now, I think central banks will give them lifelines if they fail. In the long run, I don't know. It seems futile if interest rates remain low indefinitely and banks don't find new, low-risk ways to make money.

In addition to what I wrote some days back, I did want to also incl. the roles of Mars and Jup.

Per a couple of sources, the first COVID case was discovered Nov. 17th in China.

Now, Nov. 12th/13th, Mars was in fiery Leo (the sign of the Sun - giver of life) and was trining Jup in fiery Sag to a tee. So, I blame that for the spread. However, just because it was discovered mid Nov. doesn't mean the virus was born middle of Nov only. I think that when Mars from Leo squared Saturn to a tee in the last week of Oct., and Pluto was only 6* further down in Cap, that is when this mutant virus actually came into being. Very important to note here also is the fact that Mars was also in opp. to Uranus that had already ingressed into Taurus - the sign of nature. A lot in play.

Is anyone looking into the transits of the Saturn-Pluto conjunction 1/12/2020?

The last transit of the Saturn-Pluto conjunction occurred 37 years ago on 11/8/1982, 3 months after The great bull market of the 1980s, which became the even greater bull market of the 1990s, was born on Aug. 13, 1982.

Saturn and Pluto will be exactly conjunct at 12 noon Washington, D.C. January 12, 2020 at 22 Capricorn 47.

Any thoughts - personal, financial, geopolitical...?

Just curious.

From the excellent read of Jan Seymour:
Mars will likely be triggering more anger in the months to come - as it squares Saturn, Pluto and Jupiter and goes Retrograde as we get closer to the election. Anarchy and bloodshed are possibilities!
